We used to camp at the state camp grounds at lake Waramug in your home state . I also noticed one of your last wheelie rides you drove past the lake and took some pics by the shore line. We haven't been there in a few years but it was the nicest campground that we ever pitched a tent in. Swimming in fresh water is a whole new experience compared to salt water. My friend and i swam out to the outside edge of the swimming area and we are treading water like crazy just to keep our heads above the water . I pushed his shoulder down a little and boy did he get pissed at me.hahaha

@@MotoCheez Too much prep and I find paints are almost as bad as rubberized undercoatings. They just trap moisture. I just convert the rust with phosphoric acid then oil.

The Rust-Oleum soaks in good. Don't like undercoating at all

@@MotoCheez You can't get in the places I spray with a nozzle on a 3 foot flexible line. I can completely soak the inside of a rocker panel end to end and it will creep into the pinch weld. Inside door panels, pillars, headlight crowns, inside cavities, I can soak the foam body gap fillers which trap deicers, etc etc and I can do it faster and more thoroughly. Sodium/Magnesium/Calcium Chlorides and moisture get between paint and steel, it doesn't get between oil and steel.

It's one of the last riding days of the season here. My buddy called and wanted to ride. I had to work. :-( I'm passive aggressively watching MotoCheez videos while I'm working. On the plus side, after 42 days since I paid for my HiJet, Be Forward is finally booking the cargo ship. Hopefully, it sets sail on 29OCT22 and arrives around 5DEC22. I'm still buying Hijet accessories on Amazon. 42000 lumen light bar arrived yesterday. JEEBUS!

I carry a pocket backpack in my tail bag, It folds up about the size of a McDonad's hamburger and is big enough to carry a gallon of milk. Comes in real handy for small grocery runs.

Route 22 hasn't changed much from the 70, s and i always enjoyed driving on it except for the only two speeding tickets i ever got on it. hahaha . One time coming back from skiing at Brodie mountain in Massachusetts at night and it was lightly snowing and I'm doing about 50 MPH a set of headlights appeared in my rear-view mirror. I do a shout out on channel 19 and a reply comes back and its a 18 wheel milk tanker heading south. This driver had a set because i pulled over and left me in dust of snow by Millerton saying something about it held the road real good with a load of moo juice. Since this covid thing hit the real estate prices have in Dutchess & Columbia counties have gone off the wall. I also remember the patients walking around the campus grounds years ago and where have they all gone? BY the way i found out about registering a vehicle in hippie state of Vermont.

The last time I took my Hawk out for a small spin to test my clutch cable adjustments I encountered a guy getting one last cruise in on his scooter, he waved to me, I waved back. Scooters are motorcycles too, they're just the comfy lazy-boy recliner type. They're also far better for romping about in town as there's no worry about having to shift. I'd love to get me one of the big Kymco 550 scooters for long cruise comfort. But I don't have the money for something like that right now. I'm hoping there's one more decent day I can get a quick spin in before having to prep the Hawk for winter. Now that it's at home I can tinker on it more freely. :)

Yes! Believe it or not, it was the carb plunger jet needle, the clip didn't seat to hold it down and it would cough and kick engine backwards to snap the chain. Once I figured that out I haven't broke a chain in over a year

My son just got new Hellcat yesterday, I help him put together all is good but won’t run due to no fuel going to carb!!! I unplug the fuel hose before the peacock no fuel leak out of that too!! What could it be? He did crank it before we add fuel in tank though, could that ruin something?
