I have the status Gruppe headers, rasp eliminators, non res x pipe and the scza muffler and it sounds perfect. But honestly I do like a little rasp and wish it didn’t remove all of it. Great video as always!

Yeah from the outside typical all range rasp sounds just awful especially on camera. But that example of resonance at ~3500 sounds very sweet from "inside out" i mean when you do arround half throttle pull with windows down it sounds like pure pleasure to your ears irl.

I have a stock resonator with a flowmaster super 10 muffler on my Hyundai Tucson. I opted out of the resonator delete thinking the super 10 would provide the sound I was going for but I want it a little louder and more noticeable - so my question is… will this sound better than the stock resonator on the vehicle?

I would do straight pipe with 4 damn vibrant resonators at front and a little at rear cause HOLY RASP

Sounds great. I’m looking to do this to my m20 3.1L stroker after I decided to fit one rear muffler. Way too loud and raspy for me at this point

It’s a decently subtle difference, if you have the room to get the bigger one definitely do it.

Dude my B8 S4 has headers no cats or resonators and cat back , it’s raspy too, may look into these

It definitely helps but is not a drastic difference especially at full throttle, unless you are able to get two of them and preferably the longer ones, that may do the trick.

Thats a regular Vibrant bottle style resonator. Most people go with the "Ultra Quiet" model. Seems to do a slightly better job but its physically wider

Is your muffler stock or after market here? I did dual magnaflow res. With too speed exhaust and the rasp Is gone but it sound almost fart can like. I actually miss a little tough of rasp lol

Does the top speed sound good with everything stock? I just bought one and need to know lol haven’t seen any clips or hardly any info given they all sound the same

@@DecYpheRv2 it sounded decent but it was crazy loud. I had it on for a few weeks and took it off. The drone was unbearable. The shifts sounded cool but it was obnoxious loud

I would go OEM if you have the opportunity. That was originally my plan but everyone wanted like $200 for one so wasn’t worth it. However, I’d assume they are both about the same as they are nearly identical in size.

Isn't it just a shiny overpriced glasspack? I can't help but think a cherry bomb would have done the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

From what I was reading, a glasspack acts more like a muffler and doesn’t tune out high frequencies like drone or rasp and eventually gets louder and loses its effectiveness over time. Something about the fiberglass in it deteriorating as it gets hot. Resonators I think are just thick perforated stainless steel and won’t need to be replaced, I drive a lot so I wanted it to last.
