I'm not yo lazy to wash my whole rental I turned into a commune to pay a little less rental's clothes by hand after I still haven't heard from anybody at Defy and my machine is not even 2 months old... it's just that I now have a Herniated disk and pinched nerve in my Lumbar area that I got from fixing this place up all by myself. Thank you for the video, normally the error message for a door switch is (dE), funny thing is research on the Internet state it is a object between the agitator and basin. Strange that defy uses e6 for that fault.

Hi, thank you for the insight. i have tried the second method as i can't afford a new part at the moment, it worked on 2 loads then did the E6 error again, i re-opened it again and did as per your guidelines but it refused to spin again, even now as we speak it still gets stuck on the E6 error at 3 minutes. Hi there if it's refusing to work you can bypass the door switch by cutting the 2 wires connecting to the switch and join them together

There 2 things u need to clean which is lint filter and pump filter

Lint filter is located on the side walls of the drum so u need to locate the tabs to pull it out gently press the tabs while pulling once it's off you definitely will figure out the way forward Then the drain filter you nned to locate the drain pump cover and turn the round cover anticlockwise to losen and once it's loose you will see all the dirt collected

First make sure it's draining all the water in the machine and if yes lay the machine on its side and put it direct to spin check underneath to see if the drain motor is pulling(black box with a wire on one side) if it pulls then it's okay Next option is to replace the water pressure/level sensor It might be that it's not telling the board that water is finished in the drum
