What things should you see in Pula, Croatia? We spend a wonderful day in Pula, situated on the Istrian peninsula after driving from Zagreb a couple of days earlier. The sky is blue and the sun is out, so wonderful!
We explore the most famous site in Pula, which is the 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheater. Very pretty surroundings with gardens and stairs. In some ways, we think it is prettier than the Colosseum in Rome. What do you think?
We also check out the Pula Cathedral with its stand-alone bell tower. The old square next to the Temple of Sct. Augustus was cozy and we enjoyed a somewhat expensive meal.
