E7 Error Hiboy S2 Pro Suggested Fix Did Not Work

Hiboy recommended tightening the bolts on the front motor wheel and disconnecting the 5 color wire to attempt control unit reset.

Hi did you have 1 white wire plug not connected to anything when you opened the bottom?

What kind of screwdriver do I need? what's the name of it when I get to the store in a couple of hours I can go ahead and get the screwdriver because I'm having the same issue. Yesterday it shut down on me as I was riding after months of having it and it is refurbished. It shut down WITH A BLINKING E7 SIGN. First my breaks stopped working and then it completely sit down less than 10 seconds later and keeps blinking. I don't have no screwdrivers and don't know the name of it to be able to ask I'm about to just get the whole pack.

Hi Jose I got the e7 thing going on with mine but then I checked I realized my front wheel was completely loose could that be the problem?

I don’t think so - but definitely tighten it back up and give it a shot. I had to get a new wheel from the manufacture to fix my issue.

Same - no power. Just paid another $200 for new handle bars (control board) and battery pack. It will now charge but it will not turn on. Originally the control board would flicker, now its dead. After 13 months and very little use (never in rain). I now have the most expensive Hiboy s2 pro and it doesn't work. Its too bad b/c I really thought it was good quality when purchased and gave the company a great review.

I just got mine used, from a customer who is moving got it home charged it but found out that's why they gave it to me lol, they spoke manderine so mayby they did say it didn't work,, I'm here trying to learn....how to tackle this lemon.

Here is steps >>>👇 Motor hall error Need to check if the motor hall cables are connecting well first, if any cable is not connecting well, re-connect it and see if the E7 error disappears; After re-connecting the haul cables and E7 still exists, then need to replace the motor
