We went through hell with our water here in WV. The former owners said the well was 50 feet deep, actual was 24 feet with the bottom 8 feet mud. We had little water, the water we did have was very cloudy and full of iron. However, a few years, lots of trial and error a water softener and a new $10K well and things were fine. The filter on yours is a sediment filter and there really should be a finer filter (whole house filter) in line after it. Also you have to check the pressure tank from time to time because they become water logged and this will cause the pump to run any time the faucets are opened. Not being a know it all but we've been down the water troubles road a few times. When city water comes through we are going to celebrate. At least till we get the monthly bills.

Sounds a bit like the fable of the grasshopper and the ant that I heard in the 50's.

John, John, John! Do you not realize that you have just surrendered the secret of manhood? Forever in the future any project you undertake will be supervised by Meg, because you allowed her to do some of this construction project ! By default she now knows everything about designing, planning and constructing everything! Thank god I did not make that mistake until much later in life.

Why did you decide to have power from the utility rather then installing solar?
@WalnutsandWineberries2 жыл бұрын
We were on a timeline with getting out of the campground as it was closing for the season. Our house is going to be completely off grid solar.

For running pull rope through your conduit, put a shop vac on your conduit at the destination. Tie a rag to your rope and suck it through. Keep hands off rope, you will get rope burns it goes so fast.

While i work on my well head (360feet deep) I ball up a beach towel with a cord on it and shove it into the casing so that nothing can fall to bottom .

If you would have bought Milwaukee instead of Dewalt you wouldn't have had to buy a new drill, sorry I just hate Dewalt products. LOL

Haha! No offense, Tony. It's all about versatile lithium battery compatibility. All these tool companies really need to use a generic battery and then they will be forced to compete on the tool itself. That will never happen though.
