Just watched you video from a Llangollen, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some fantastic drone footage over Poncysyllte. We first went over back in 1984 and tried to do it every year since up to 2012. I have just now watched this and found it to be exceedingly wonderful! In October, 2014, while on an England/Scotland tour with a friend, I was lucky enough to be in Llangollen, not only for lunch but also for some free time to walk about along the canal, over the River Dee, all after we’d been to Trevor Basin to get a good look at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. I vowed then to return some day and actually ride on hire boat across to the other side and back. In September, 2017, on a fantastic three-country vacation with my two mid-40-year-old sons, we did exactly that! So, seeing all your fabulous drone video is like icing on the cake of my memories! Thanks so much from over here in Portland, Oregon!

Re the building industry as one who has recently retired from a specialist company serving this sector I totally agree with you. I remember the days on large projects there would be a couple of huts with a few dozen people in them most going out on site now it’s a small town with hundreds sitting in front of screens all day never going out on site. Really enjoy your vlogs keep them coming.

you can have any color water ...as long as it's brown ! have you filled your tanks up yet ? careful with the soap, first time i was there ran a bath with bubbles in it ,went to make a cuppa ,and returned to my very own foam party ! wooshing the foam away to find the taps , put me big foot in and it was only 1/4 full ? I love the "big" scenery, those slate mountains are soo cool ,especially at daybreak, when the tops are covered in purple mist . love the vids as always ,thank you for the memories , lots of love Huffin' Girt Loafas x

I remember visiting with my Mum in 1942 as we went to visit Dad ,my dad was in the Air force on Wellingtons based near Gresford Colliery not far from Llangollen .I was very disappointed when I discovered that his squadron was assigned to dropping leaflets over Germany,.I remember the river water at and the river from way back in 1942 as being very colourful as it flowed over the rocks. What struck me most in the drone coverage of aqueduct was the infinite variety of greens in the plants. Were a couple clips of boats in aqueduct which had a feeling that the best word I could think of for it would be, "stately; adjective; having a dignified, unhurried, and grand manner; majestic in manner and appearance."

We’ve only just started watching and are loving the videos. We are non boaters but we do own a 1954 Scammell and a Showman’s living van (that we’ve lived in for 18 months so can appreciate the size). We do take our toys out and about to many shows, steam rallies and fairs but they obviously are nonexistent at the mo. Looking forward to the next video guys. Xx

Loved every minute of that video, absolutely love Llangollen, went to the Horseshoe falls last year and was actually expecting a big waterfall but still a nice place. Lots of lovely information you gave and learnt alot so thank you. Nice seeing the drone footage of it all, saw Llangollen in a different way. I've got a Friend who lives there and she lives near the river, in the big white house on the bank opposite the children's park (you probably saw it) and she's always posting things in Llangollen or around the area. Its a place I like to go to get away from everything for a little while 🙂.
