@JimmyTrunks get her over 100mph roughly once a month to ensure all components are being used and oil is getting to all the spots it's designed to. Best to take it out for track days frequently. It's designed and built to race and not doing so will lead to lead to deterioration of parts not frequently engaged.

Internet myth. I've owned 3 (1 E90, 1 E92 and current an E93), and none had issues whatsoever with RBs. This affected less than 1% of cars, but the vocal 1% on forums made the world think this somehow was every S65. Horseshit... And most of that 1%? Abused, boosted and modified.

Bought my M3 with 135.000km (100k miles?) and changed preventively immediately. Not even €1500 and I shouldn’t have waited alot longer as two started showing copper. Money well spent for peace of mind. But it’s true that it isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. Alot depends on how the engine was taken care of. Respect cold cycle and warm it up before releasing it’s glorious revs.
