Play career mode and quick fight vs AI on normal and over time u will get used to fighting, as u get better bump the difficulty, I asked the same thing and got the same response I'm giving u rn, and it 100% helped me recognize patterns. Also watch pry or Romero any high level players, u can learn from them just my watching they gameplay

This is what people love about other fighting games, everyone looks and feels unique. Too many generic stances for big fighters in UFC 5. Gotta do more unique animations like gaethje MVP Cruz and dillashaw

MVP needs signature lunging jabs and straights. His normal jab looks like trash in the new stance and he’s always striking when he darts in anyway. It’s like no matter how close ea comes to hitting the mark they’re just never quite on

Imagine if they actually took the time to do this for every fighter, or at least the really notable ones. Cruz, and now MVP are the only ones that have their own signature base movements. The rest just have maybe a signature attack on top of a broad or generic base movement style

Honestly ea needs to get booted and cut we need new devs whom actually want to work on this game and are passionate about fighting games and get every detail theres no communication and we need quality of life updates this game feels so bland and dry compared to undisputed the style the movement everything in this game is bland I wish they showed the same love they got for Paige for the rest of the fighters I wish they replicated Nate's style better and people like that

Great job EA team Devs! Don’t listen to these haters. UFC 5 damage is amazing, the roster is deep, alter egos are sick, career mode is decent, and there’s still more room for improvement. Not to mention the ppv challenge updates etc I swear you all need to go out and touch grass they’re not even charging you for the bulk of the updates and clearly have put a lot of algorithmic thought into this. Loved the undisputed series but let it go the stand up was fucking trash 🗑️

i agree but i liked the flash knock downs in Undisputed. Like a jab could drop you but it wouldn't put you in a rocked state or even really lower your health, you just get caught and go down like in real life. Unique head movement animations were also super cool in Undisputed. Overall ufc 5 is better but that doesn't mean that EA shoudn't take notes from THQ.
