Few days later, I get an 85x3 from some objective and pack toty ferdinand. Moral of the story, stick to objective grinding for packs and please dont spend. Battlefront 2 had the same problem a few years ago (Made by DICE who EA owns since 2006) incredibly much p2w stuff, in that way you had to buy crates with credits to upgrade ur cards. So much so that they had to remove the system and replace it so people actually could play the game. bruv I play since FIFA07, Ultimate team since FIFA16 every single day, I lost the passion after TOTY. Looking at pictures of old FIFA’s like 16 or even 19 and seeing gold teams with 1 inform on April and realising FIFA will never be the same. I will slightly disagree with draft being an issue, cause at least to me I think it’s got a perfect design(except for rewards). For me the biggest issue is the design of the other main modes. Playing against AI in SB isn’t fun, and the rewards are subpar. Rivals does not reward you enough for the level of sweat you have to put in. Champs is fine, though I still think it could have more garuntee to it, maybe an icon pick. But most of all, it’s the lack of a casual gamemode. Friendly having skill based makes it bad to play, especially since you don’t get rewarded at all. Making friendlies more fun would be a big help in making the game not feel so frustrating.

What I find soo incredibly admirable about EA is how no matter what greedy shambles of a release they produce they know the majority of their player base is pay to win (addicted). For example they make everything terrible they’ve done acceptable by jump scaring the community with a store pack to make up for it, the bonus objective for example! The problem is that EA categorized their product fifa/ ea fc as a cash cow, eventho it would be still a star that is worth investing in. The reason for that is like you said that this product will remain relevant, because people love football and the main game to experience all forms and characters of football is still fifa. That's why they need more competition, so they get their asses up and stop letting their underpayed interns develop and run this product. Just based on economical perspective I have to give credit to ea on how good they are in pumping every penny out of their players to develop other games (I'm not aware if even these ressources have been used properly or succesful).

Ive always respected your honesty bro! Back with the intro packs and points with Pre-orders in previous versions = a gambling addiction with purchasing points and so on! It has been crazy too see a company celebrate profits after separating from Fifa while thinking FIFA were the dodgy ones.... crazy times my man!

I’ve been playing FIFA since FIFA98 and when Ultimate Team first came out it was great, it was such a great game mode and I enjoyed it until FIFA 14. Then they started making it all about money year after year and this year it is just all about packs, not even about football anymore. I’ve lost the count of how many packs I’ve opened this year, some were also store packs I decided to open for TOTY and the pack weight was absolutely ridiculous. More and more people will just stop playing this game. The direction EA is taking is the same Rockstar took with GTA by just trying to manipulate and sell Shark Cards.
