The most amazing thing EA ever done was for NBA Live 09 Dynamic DNA. If a player had an off night, they'd be cold shooting. So a few times Wade was missing shots and when I played with him he'd be brick city, but the next night if he was on in the game he became that guy. Wonder if that's at all possible for Madden

Layups over dunks, 3's over jumpers, and were they hot or cold, etc. It was nuts. It featured player tendencies, player dna, and team dna

Except there really aren't many new additions. It's just recycled stuff that they removed from the game years ago for no reason, being added back to the game and being marketed as "new"

I will always cherish the days where madden and 2k went head to head to see who had the better football experience. Nowadays, Mut has ruined the development of the game. As long as there is a new way to spend money throughout the year in the game, Madden will continue to have minimal growth in the gameplay. The same animations, bugs and exploits all remain year in and year out. EA has us by the balls. The focus will always be our pockets. 😢 great video ER. Keep up the hardwork.

Only ten percent of people that play Madden care at all about MUT. That's their biggest feature because it's how they make in game transactions. But nobody really actually likes it aside from a few. I know a hundred people that play and only one of them has ever played mut twice. It's franchise mode and superstar everyone likes... But anyway you're the man Eric love your stuff bro

i really hope for ea that they do good this year bc this is a make or break year, but i think it might take one more year to get madden to a enjoyable game that everybody can enjoy no matter what modes you play, but from what i’ve seen so far on madden 24 it is definetely a step in the right direction, but next year could possibly be a bigger make or break year

Mut isn't the issue they don't need to add much if you fix franchise then you add that kind of stuff to MUT. I don't play MUT but enough people put money into it that they know they don't have to change anything but obviously more people care about franchise as people want to play seasons with their favorite teams.

@@xxstephxx1005 while yes MUT is the money maker it seems EA finally realized without franchise getting significant upgrades every year people just won't buy the game. Remember a few years back when #fixfranchise was the #1 trending on Twitter and after that they started putting in the work to franchise and then you come to this year and franchise got all the significant upgrades and MUT didn't get really anything outside of cross gen and I'm sure a bunch of new missions and cards. I think the best thing to do at this point is to split Madden devs into 2 groups and release 2 different games or make MUT a digital only buy and then its a win win for the EA and the Madden community.

typically cross gen is only supported for next gen like pc, ps5, and Xbox series x. truthfully neither ea or 2k should be using any development resources on last gen consoles at this point

@@quintidwell99 if you go on the deep dive they did today it say “challenge friends and compete to see who has the ultimate team”. Doesn’t mention anything about squading up on different systems. Fifa has the same thing, you can play against other systems when playing solo but you can’t play 2v2 with people from other systems.

I mean the reason they took it away was because people just ran 1 play. It's not really the top 100 players if the same players are in the top 100 because they used one play to make it. If they wanted to make MUT interesting and balance they should have it so you can't use the same play every down. I mean people look for one play and then they will spam that play and even flip the play thinking someone will fall for the same play. It's boring if you use the same play that's not football. If anything they should lock the play out for two downs and it also unlocks when you get the ball back. So then this makes it so people can't just pick one play and just use it over and over again. I mean i don't care if they did it for 4 downs or 5. As long as they do something to make it interesting. To me if they do something like this then they can have the top 100 players back on weeklys because then it won't be as easy to just be in the top 100.

This is why I stick to my belief that MUT should be separate. When the #FixMaddenFranchise blew up, they admitted that the majority of Madden games played were solo offline. So make Madden $20 cheaper, and make MUT and $20 DLC since those are people who are already going to waste money on MUT. That way, the majority of players don't have to have a wasted mode taking up hard drive space.
