How do you change the direction of the run play without changing formation in online head to head? Exhibition mode allows it with directional stick on PS5, but online seems to be different. I have to flip entire play.

@@Sora-se2vr I’ve just fallen out of love with it, there’s lots of reasons really, but for me the way the sport is going and how it’s majorly shifted from just playing the game to the whole lifestyle around it. None of the players care for the sport and it shows massively especially the last few years, it just feels like to me the magic has gone and it’s going down a very different path than what it was even 7 or so years ago.

Playing defense on 3rd down isn't for the faint of heart, lock up 1st and 2nd .. now 3rd and 17, my corner LITERALLY steps to the side and let's the receiver run free, no animation or battle at the line just steps to the side then proceeds to chase ... seems like every teams D line has at least a Lawrence Taylor or Aaron Donald no matter who you play, but your d line has to fight for their lives just to get a pressure.. few broken things that they hopefully patch up, I don't want it easy just reasonable

Madden 06 gor me. So much has changed. Last time I played NCAA the receivers always seemed to never catch the passes. I had more drops than catches.

Don’t forget you can “Hesi” as a runner. Makes your player slow down a tad and rock step a little. This is a great move to do when you have cleared the LOS and you have a defender isolated. Push down on your right analog to hesi and then hit them with a juke/spin move right after. Basically you’re setting up the defender and it makes the cpu not know what to do. Takes some practice but once you get the hang of it it’s awesome and makes for some nasty clips.

Just here to say your running tip of not springing immediately came through. Holding back and finding the lane bailed me out of a 3rd and 16. One thing I love about this cane is that for whatever reason, it's much better at teaching football than Madden. I never really understood the nuances of football but its fitting the college came would be the one to teach me.

If you guys want to do the Hesi step that was shown off in the trailer all you gotta do is hold RT and flick down on the right thumb stick and you can combo this move into any other move and leave the defense stunned 💪🏾 🏈 🥁 🎺

The jet touch is good to use because you can mix in other look from that same formation or play like the fake jet inside zone. Now your defender thinks you’re doing a jet touch to the right but actually handing it off to the RB to back left.

The game is great. Visuals and atmosphere all are great feels authentic. The game play may have a few issues but it seems like we have a lot of control compared to madden. Question to everyone who’s been playing, what’s the best strategy you’ve found for dealing with people putting 4-5 wide and abusing the scramble with a duel threat qb? It’s so easy to make a man miss in open field that a spy isn’t efficient and qb contain opens up the middle of the line. Cover 2 zones are okay except man is superior in this game.

This game is better than I could have imagined. First game I played as Wisconsin against Minnesota for the axe on heisman difficulty. Opening kickoff for a TD and a pick 6 on my first defensive play. Won 38-10. Such a blast!

11:30 The DBs don't blitz from all the way back in their normal position they come up to the line of scrimmage presnap. You can use those if you have good coverage LBs. Otherwise I found the tips very good thanks.

I can't stop playing it. After finishing the 10-hour trial, I bought it right away. I haven't bought a game at full price in years. I was waiting too long, I remember on ncaa 14 I had started something like 10 careers and here I am doing worse! I play 3 games and start a new career lol! As an Italian guy and American college lover, I go crazy seeing the attention to detail, the stickers on the helmets, the mascots and all those little secrets that, for logistical reasons, I don't know. I could easily start a road to glory with every college! The details of all the stadiums, the uniforms....love this game! Ps. Btw i hope in a patch that fix the zoom camera that has no angle!!

I've been playing Madden for years. This game is quite difficult on Varsity and above when it comes to passing. In Madden I pretty much knew which routes would get open before the ball was even snapped, now defense actually plays as they should.

Dude I love this game . I know it’s not perfect and it’s a little mroe “madden reskin “ than people hoped for. But I don’t care . Love it. They nailed fhe stadiums and atmosphere .
