They love these new time limited loans, I reckon they’ve got it right and it’s just loans, and they think we love it because it isn’t a certain number of games! However there’s no way are they giving out icons in season 2! I believe EA think the time limited loans are as good as owning cards

This makes me not even interested in gaining xp. Last season at least there was a good card to grind for at the end in Adama but now we only get trash maybe 4 day loans? ... I'll play only necessary games and no xp grind this season 💩

Come on now, Abily and Thuram are obviously loans. That's the easiest one there. The double Martinez loan seems odd, but regarding Malen/Grealish, maybe the player pick is supposed to be an untradeable card, and the timed loans is for trying them out, to figure out who you likes best.

Those cards are too good for EA to give them free. If the end cards are a mistake and we ARE suppose to get them, XP will be scarce and catch everyone off guard because they handed out 20k XP in the final week last season

Well I just think instead of creating okay cards to spice up rewards for progress they're giving good loans to subtitute actually giving permanent cards to people, also could be them shifting the game towards loans more and thus giving store packs more loan options and technically allowing a good reward for a limited time rather than a complete rng on a good or bad reward, but this season pass isnt great, sure the loan cards are good and i bet the like 3 days you have them will be good but the permanent card isnt great, most people rn are serie a, la liga or prem, i've rarely matched against ligue 1 teams. EDIT: I got hansen from the last season pass and i assume a lot of other people got really nice rewards, so it also could be them nerfing the rewards because of "unintended results".

This gives me a bad feeling to be fair, back in my mind I do not think this is a mistake from EA, but rather them building up frustration on the season, so the paid season will start season 3, where you get loans like in season 2 for a certain amount of time on the free one, and permanent unlocks the players on the paid. I have played every fifa in history, and EA never does something "unintented". Keep it up buddy

The thing is, as with their gameplay and their pack weights, everything is dynamic with EA. I wouldn't be surprised if they are actually giving permanent versions of these cards out of pure desperation because they know this game is in serious trouble.

I think the players excluding icons towards the end are actual versions of the player to keep as opposed to timed loans. It just has to be a visual error from EA. It would be too stupid even for EA standards to give out loans for high level rewards.

EA Strategy = give loan players for season objectives. The aim of this is to let gamers try out these better players, feel impressed, and try to encourage them to buy FC points, so they can either pack the full version of the card, or get enough coins to afford them.
