I mean the BF1 devs didn't leave until they launched BF5 and a lot of people cried about that one despite it being the most innovative of the series, and it consistently having more than double the player count of BF1. Then "Don't Like It Don't Buy It" took all those veteran devs to make Arc Raiders and The Finals, which people are just eating up The Finals... and I'm sure they will be all over Arc Raiders when it releases as well.

All of the 15-21yr devs, like almost 80 of them left when Patrick Soderlund "Don't Like It Don't Buy It" left in August 2018 and created Embark Studios.

REMAKE old BF4 map Shanghai (leave all the same, add some textures/effects) and thats it! The same with old and good Metro map (without elevators), 1st metro map!!! Then add point collection (no kill maps), with full heli of players taking flags like it was before (there were some servers, no kill, only flag taking) ❤️

all of it sounds good but could suck. however, both Vince and Byron saying "we'll have large playtests early next year" actually does inspire confidence that Vince and team might be onto something this time around. And hell, even if the game's a bit wonky, they have time to course correct. If the game already feels a bit battlefield in closed alpha playtests early next year, then i'm gonna start feeling more trusting of this next Battlefield Game. Regardless, i'm always a bit excited to hear BF News, so it's nice to see it so early and I hope they make something good this time around. Also, idc for Battle Royale's at all, but i'm fine with a Battlefield BR, personally.

Since we listened to the customer we promise to have: Poor hit detection, counter intuitive bullet deviation, no destruction, poor map selection, poor gun selection with poor damage values, poor class distinction, no score board, gay soldiers with rainbow camouflage, no servers, a me too sbmm mechanic, women soldiers with man jaw, op regular transport, nerfed air support, pre-order that fixes none of the community gripes, a day one patch that doesn't patch, manpower spent fixing the vanilla into half the life cycle of the game...etc😂😂😂

After 2042 anything they have to say about their next game just sounds like corporate talk that doesnt mean anything. Seeing them up on stage talking about their next game like its some sort of TED Talk already tells me the next BF is doomed. its not just 64 players squads and no specialist that we need - they need to nail the movement and pacing of bf3 and bf4 - there needs to be the core mechanics - they did not nail that with 2042 - it was a very sticky, staccato like movement COD experience in terms of animation and pacing. That is just not Battlefield. battlefield has that chunkiness , encumbrance , the weight to weapon sway depending on what your carrying, that peek to lean system and that bf4 slide into prone needs to be achieved. The ADS wasn't even good with the scopes. we need support for flight stick as pilots in battlefield. commander mode needs a fresh return . server browser is a must. once they have that down then they can have MOTIVE studios who is great at story telling and gore via dead space - bring the frostbite Gore to the game via military combat like never seen before alongside Levolution 2.0. great map design and premium contact to drop in the pacing style of bf3's DLC - also get rid of the cross system for weapon customization. and no health bars on enemy players - un-immersive if you ask me - dont add zombies and COD crap in it. we want battlefield NOT Call of duty
