Sad to see the career mode is literally identical to UFC 4’s. Just the increase in quality of graphics and fluidity of animations. I hope they’ll really make us feel included in the future. Like press conferences, post fight interviews, promotion of fights thru interviews having to answer humbly or arrogantly, being able to call out fighters rather than just sitting back and always being the one to respond. So much they could’ve done to capitalize on the utilization of UFC in the gaming world but hopefully we’ll get there soon.

Oh, that was a beautiful career mode. Great job bro great job indeed if there was one thing and I’m kind of sad about it would have to be. I wish there was one more cut scene either at the end of the fight or before the fight one less interaction with Coach Davis, it would’ve put that icing on the cake but still overall a solid experience. Thank you for the great work. Keep up the great work have a good one and I’ll catch you on the next one.

I would love for the developers at EA to take up this challenge: 1: 6 months of MMA training. 2: No pads allowed. 3: Opponent is allowed to fight at 100% power and they are restricted to 70-80% power. 4: In boxing training their opponent is allowed to kick, elbow, perform takedowns, ground and pound and submissions. They can only punch. 5: In wrestling and BBJ their opponent can kick, punch, elbow and knee them. They can only use BBJ and wrestling moves. I am betting after 6 months of that, we see an improved career mode.

EA should add a few weight cut exercises before fight as well & if one doesn't complete those, fighters should fail in making weight which should result in some penalty. This will make it more realistic

At 32:59 you have just stunned the AI with a sweet uppercut. You then go for the left kick which the AI while seeing stars can perfectly dodge with split-second timing? This is what really does my head in and anyone in a stunned state can only cover up surely, while regaining their equilibrium - not Skynet's AI though.

Hi Martial! Thanks for the series! Really fun to watch! If you do another career mode, I would suggest you to do a Muay Thai career only, where you mostly use Muay Thai techniques like clinch, elbows, knees and front kicks. To make it even more interesting, don't improve any grappling stats and train Muay Thai only! Much love from Portugal!

enjoyed the start of the career mode buy half way through the series it became really boring since you know how to overcome the AI not your fault at all but the AI should really adapt to your fighter more over the course of your career to keep the fights competitive. Looking forward to what comes next unless its another career series in which case ill catch you after that.

I don't know what EA doesn't get about a realistic career mode. You shouldn't have peak health and attributes at the end of your career. There are things the player could do to minic this (stop training, don't heal injuries) but you shouldn't have to do these things to have more of a realistic effect. All longevity is in this game is a clock, longevity doesn't affect the attributes or stats. At the end of your longevity your fighter should be a shell of themselves. There should be significant stat decay, particularly in tougher fights later in your career, and a much higher cost to recover stats, like hundreds of evolution points + cash to heal an injury. And some injuries should linger permanently because that's real life. If you destroy your wrist even if you get surgery it's never the same, there's arthritis that lingers. these wouldn't even be difficult to implement, they just don't think it's a priority for whatever reason.

Really would like to see another career mode. If you do decide to do another career, I would recommend that you choose a jiu jitsu fighter. Then you can start the career with the *Kimura* and other submissions.

This Career Mode was truly your Best One you've done, and I absolutely use to think your first UFC 4 Career Mode with Jim Miller was the best series in all the UFC Series Content. But this one was even better. Though you did Duck Jim Miller this time around, LOL!! Keep doing your thing my Friend, though one small suggestion that I suggested in another one of your Career Mode Videos, I think that you should start the next Career Mode with you using yourself as a 18-19 year Old. I know it's a Video game and your fighting 59 Year Old Tony Ferguson's, but at least from your standpoint it's a little more realistic then starting you off as a 30-31 year old Prospect. Plus you can think of it as the 18 Year Old Henry Maxwell deciding that he was dedicating himself being a World Champion in MMA at a Younger Age. Just a Suggestion Bro. Man, it really annoys me seeing 59 year old Tony Ferguson still getting title shots in the late career mode. Having the career go on for 20 + years (and your character only fighting 2 times a year on average) feels ridiculous. Ideally, they should increase the fights per year, but half the number of years that the career mode goes on for (slow down the timescale). They also need more fighters to retire at reasonable points in their career. To fix that I feel like they can either phase in overpowered CAFS (built to counter the players stats/playstyle) or start the career mode a couple years before the current era (like 2015-2019 etc) and let the player cycle through that era up to a little after the modern one etc.

I really enjoyed your series. It helped me to see what this game is clearly. I was planning on buying a PS5 just to play this game. But I won't waste my money, since this game is basically identical to UFC 4, which I own on my PS4. Yes, there is a new submission system. But I play these games for the career mode, and the career mode is exactly the same, and very bad at that. I mean come on, you were fighting a 59 year old Tony Ferguson in this episode... WHo fights at 59? It is just laziness to keep fighters in the UFC in this game past 40 years old. Also the training mini games are horrible, they don't simulate real training, which you did mention in the videos frequently. They could have added pads, had a completely different approach to the whole game. They could have added more immersion by having Joe Rogan interview your fighter after a win, asking you what you want to do next. When you have to do an obligatory press tour, to atually have you see a cut scene where you get asked questions and can select answers. To have rivalries where it actually matters what you say, to be part of a gym and a team of fighters. I mean there are so many things they could have done, they should have just copied UFC Undisputed 3, which is by far the best MMA game according to all MMA fans. People still play it to this day. But no, what EA did is literally copy paste UFC 4 and sell it as a new game. Lazy and offensive to the customers. I will defninitely not be buying a PS5 just to play this game. Sad, because I was hoping that we will finally get a good MMA game, which will be immersive. But what they did is what they used to do with the FIFA games, just rehash the previous game, update the graphics, and maybe add one new feature, like the submission system. Everything else is the same, but looks better graphically.

i think in future ufc games for the career mode they should have an “era” option where you choose what year you want to fight in. ex: i want to start my career in 2015 during the jones vs dc rivalry. this way we fight fighters of that time and as time progresses they add fighters to the rankings/roster who actually joined the ufc during that time. this would prevent fighting against fighters who get old, fighting against the same guys over and over, and fighting against cafs. there’s also a thing in the career mode now where a fighter will call you out when you join the ufc, maybe with my idea if you can be the one calling out newcomers if you’re in the ufc before a popular fighter. ex: i chose to be in an “era” before sean o’malley got in the ufc and I joined before him, during my career sean eventually joins the ufc and has a buzz around his name, I call him out to a fight for his debut. idk just some ideas to make career mode fun throughout the entire career in the future. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Things EA needs to fix include: Your first fight this episode was against a FIFTY NINE YEAR OLD Tony Ferguson... FFS EA. lol Enjoyed this whole series & looking forward to the next one. Edit: I think what they need to do is make your career start EARLIER than it does, and maybe let you work your way up on the undercards of past UFC events, like relive Conor vs Khabib etc and you're on the undercard. That's the type of stuff that would make Career Mode different & unique for the next game. Maybe even give you the choice of what Era you start in? That'd be sick, but harder for them to do, and I don't see EA putting that much effort in to it.
