Ea WRC - fastest stage in the game?

Is this the fastest stage in Ea WRC? certainly makes use of the limiter in 5th gear! check it out
With a recent update for EA Sports WRC I decided I'd jump on and see if there were any noticeable improvements. I decided I'd give tarmac a bit more of my attention after spending a bit of time on Richard Burns Rally lately on some of the very realistic tarmac stages it has to offer. I'd had issues with Monte Carlo with the game crashing and producing a critical error report so I wanted to see if this had been implemented with any of the update, Sadly it hasn't and a fair few attempts of recording this run resulted in the game exiting to the desktop. Hopefully EA Sports can rectify these problems in due course.
0.00 - Intro
0:34 - Flat out!
1:24 - Back into the village
2:40 - Back into the hills
2:59 - Hairpin
3:45 - Hairpin to finish

Keep having the same hard crash issue at Monte, honestly soul crushing but RBR is better anyways. Also, nice gloves

Have you tried reducing ground cover from ultra? Works for a lot of people. RBR is great ! And thank you, best gloves I've used. They are go karting gloves so ultra thin and very comfortable

The update was to fix the campaign, nothing to do with errors, lag or crashes, they did say "we are working to improve that in the coming year".

Set srage surface lower than Ultra! CTOD problem solvved. Sometimes a good idea to read solution posted by average users or a list what bug fixed by a hotfix. This was a small fix for the Career mode omly. a 'Time trial' run usn't a good choice for testing it ...

That's not a time trial run it's a championship setting. I have still had issues on Monte Carlo with ultra not on

It's a problem that I can live with at moment, shame though cause Monte carlo has some lovely stages

For a first wrc game by codemasters its good the next game will be better

@@averagesimracergbr i only cared about dirt rally 1 the new wrc game looks very different at least the stages look way better than before and it is definitely a lot bigger than dirt games

Hopefully it'll just keep getting improved. Hopefully the name being ea sports wrc rather than ea sports wrc 11 or 2023 might mean they don't intend on quickly releasing another new version

@@averagesimracergbr maybe they will go like wrc 2 next year who knows.what do you think about the tires i have made a custom championship with real life amount of stages for each event and the game counts the km of the event for how many tires you get like 4 sets for a 19 stages of gravel event the tires get worn pretty fast and there isn't enough to finish the whole event what the hell with this.

@@averagesimracergbr do you find them harder than DR2.0 to drive to, or have you gotten used to it? Edit: obviously it doesn't seem to be affecting your times (lol)

@IsoMorphix no I find them OK to listen to. I don't drive with on screen calls so I find you really tune into the co drivers voice
