Used to spend a lot of time there when a friend of mine based his Super Cub there. There was a short grass strip on the east side of the base that was used to land or take off from when we changed the airplanes to/from floats.

It's been awhile since I was at the SPB. This was the first time I wasn't at Airventure since it moved to OSH in 1970.
