Did you guys happen to get any video of a Blue Amphib Aircam flying at the ultralight field?

I don't think we caught an amphib on the grass this year. We definitely have a blue Aircam amphib taxiing in one or two of the arrivals videos though. Is this the one? kzbin.info/www/bejne/iV7EZKOMiZqLmac

On July 23, 2000, I was lucky enough to be the first ultralight to land on that strip in the new millennium (in a Challenger ultralight, flown in 14 stages over 4 days from Montreal). The Air Boss even kindly signed my log book to say so. Had a great time that week at Oshkosh, and an equally great flight back.

Is it possible under any circumstance to have 1 passenger fly with you in an ultralight (no license required)

Only if you name your Cessna, _Ultralight_ Otherwise, Part 103 specifies that a vehicle cannot operate under Part 103 with more than one occupant, or if the vehicle has provisions for more than one occupant. This is probably a moot point since those second occupant provisions would probably put the vehicle over the weight limit under Part 103. Now Albania, that may be a different story.

@@commentatron ok that's what I thought but just wanted to see. I feel like it would be much cooler to share that experience with another person. And it is cool how cheap/not tons of expensive practice hours you can get into flying if you go the ultralight route.

Ultralight is my favorite class. I really want an electric auto gyro just for shits and giggles. Closed cockpits are for sissies.
