35:24 this minato section is Peak its just perfect i dont know if i could explain it any better, that was wonderful. minato defintely gets an A+ atleast a B+ if you are minimalistic about his scaling, hes like the hardest counter to pain imaginable. this even alludes to how genius kakashi is going after pains eyes when pain got caught, to handle the linked vision, implying that a great level of speed can cause pain to lose his linked vision, which is the only thing guarding pain in the first place. minato and kakashi are close intelligence wise as well its honeslty possible.

•Novels are canon. A few of them have been adapted in Naruto and Boruto anime. Boruto's first trip to the Hidden Mist was originally a novel which ended up getting referenced on chapter 17. If we want to get technical, Sasuke Retsuden was adapted in the anime which by extension makes Kakashi's side of the story canon as well. •Are these matchups under the pretense that Naruto already defeated Pain, or are the Hokage replacing him? If its the former chapter 567 of the Naruto manga, confirms that Kakashi has already built countermeasures(and I doubt Kamui was part of them). Edit: You did say the fighting starts when Pain attacks the village. My bad.

Love the collab, TG is one of the GOATs and very in-depth video. I surprised you guys didn't include this part which is a huge part of this vs. battle (for example, I know New Horizons had a similar video and he included this part too) and that's calling Sage Naruto back to the village. Granted, other than for Old Hiruzen and Tsunade it wouldn't be necessary in terms of a Hokage vs. Pain battle but would help in finding Nagato, minimizing damage and defeating Pain in most cases. For Hokage Naruto, Kakashi and Hashirama it's probably not necessary as I could easily see all 3 changing Nagato's ways or just straight beating him down (Minato too) Personally there shouldn't be much of a difference in terms of grade between him and Tobirama. Both are capable of sending attacks as big as juubidama's away and getting villagers out of harms way although there chakra has to be linked. On a side tangent, Minato and Tobirama should've just linked there FTG to every villager or the chakra detection network anyways but that's beside the point. But I think the only difference in Tobirama and Minato with FTG is that Minato has many FTG kunai pre-marked (in canon we only see Tobirama mark 1 kunai, 1 sword) it'll allow him to get there quicker but theoretically, Tobirama can sense all the Pain, can likewise teleport away an attack as big as 1 juubidama and can teleport away a chakra mass as big as Full Kurama plus Minato & Naruto all the while is similar to Minato in terms of there ability to quickly and subtly mark enemies This is also something that I don't think has been said in any of the videos on this topic. There's no reason to believe that Hashirama, Tobirama, Prime Hiruzen (maybe Old too), Minato, Kakashi and Naruto don't send one clone to go to Nagato's location. You could argue that they may not know his exact location but either reverse tracking or in the case of Minato and Tobirama they are 2 of the best 5 sensors in the series normally then Hashirama & Naruto are sage mode users. As far as the Sage Mode Naruto tier with Minato, I agree. Ay is talking about Minato in light of his jonin stats and that is where he garnered his nickname "Yellow Flash". I think Hokage Minato should scale to a more mastered KCM which is above initial KCM2. We know at bare minimum by the narrative Minato is capable of deflecting 5 bijuudamas. But we know Hokage Minato AND Kushina together cap out at Mastered KCM2 stated by Kurama himself (which I would say KCM Minato is more of a rival if not stronger than that Naruto). War Arc feats show this too

The only thing I’d say is Tobirama does state that he can’t teleport as many people as Minato can, but it wouldn’t really matter in this case since they don’t have a way to share their chakra with everyone without the nine tails. I think likewise if we added Danzo, he'd probably be the worst of the Hokage as he's the weakest (excluding Shikamaru) and can't prevent damage and would also lose a war of attrition and hax

@@sageofthickcalves Sort of, but not necessarily. While the Nine - Tails was weakened, it was still a Yin - Yang Nine - Tails, and Minato was WAY more weakened than Kurama. He had used up some of his chakra, had an entire hole through him, was poisoned by Nine - Tails chakra, was also weakened due to the fact that he was inside of Kushina's mind scape, and wasn't even a Hokage yet & barely developed the Rasengan at the time. His BASE, just-developed non full - powered Rasengan as a Jōnin was enough to clash evenly against a full - powered weakened Kurama's Tailed Beast Bomb.

Prime Hiruzen couldn't have known the rasengan cos Minato "Invented" it (Either re-invented it second after ashura or invented the whole jutsu) The reason his flying thunder god is better is because he greatly improved upon it Minato's Flying Raijin mark allows him to sense the surroundings of the mark, essentially giving him critical information about the battlefield.

I agree to a certain extent. The issue is the paths of Pain split up into 2 units, so each Hokage would have to split up via clones and cover the ground necessary to get to each unit. Depending on how long it takes for them to do that, the outcome could change

When Tobirama finds out about or sees the Rinnegan at all, he gets a massive hatred amp 😅 assuming he realizes or knows it evolved from the Sharingan or knows that they're Madara's eyes lol. I think alive prime Tobirama could make at least 6 clones, blitz ever path and either kill them on the spot or mark them with FTG seal, and pick them apart as quickly as possible. The point is how they would deal with it as soon as Pain arrives. Part of Tsunade’s failure is not engaging right away, but the other Hokage (aside from Shikamaru) would likely engage right away. Even if Tobirama survives the chaotic shinra tensei by teleporting a good distance away, he’d have to teleport outside of the village with no way to teleport back since any markings left behind would be torn apart.

Hear me out on Shikamaru: He has reaction feats to several people like Kinshiki and Momoshiki, Delta, Code, Boruto, Kawaki, as well as Naruto and Sasuke. He even dodged an attack from Delta. Since Delta and Kinshiki/Momoshiki should low key be stronger/faster than Madara, Shikamaru just being able to react to them and dodge an attack from Delta probably puts him several tiers above Pain in terms of just physical stats. Hokage Shikamaru might straight up be able to just taijutsu all the Paths of Pain in 1v1s very quickly.

I got about 10 minutes in with scenarios here that you've given so far in this video lacks the battlefield context of the original fight I would do the fight with Sage mode Naruto the flight wasn't over until the character actually dies. That would a good scaling video.

NAH Naruto gets an S what you mean? When it comes to the Shikamaru thing I think his scaling is weird for sure he's not up there but the Tree feat I think is just... I don't really know because isn't it implied in part 1 that he might have been able to do something to Tayuya who was in a Curse Mark Seal 2 state. I think this is a case of just his Jutsu having wayned and maybe like Kakashi in Part 1 possibly by the time of Boruto Proper he fixes it. Scaling like this might not apply to the Boruto anime as those are likely different canons or borrow or change from different things as in the Anime the fights are more flashy and such so we get more concrete feats for sure than in the Manga. I'll just have to watch the video again if I wanted to remember my other comments.

He could even get rid of them by dropping the animal path in one shot as well. He’s got options here.

Alive Tobirama has the physical speed and strength to blitz each path and cut their heads off. His FTG also basically gives him AP negation because he can’t be touched by any of the paths of Pain.

I totally disagree with this, because kakashi even as hokage his power is increased, but why aren't you comparing him to minato? Or tobirama? Since you say he's MONSTER, then tell me something i wanna know, i still believe kakashi is F because he is plain as milk and can't even beat minato, tobirama, hashirama or even jiraiya, kashin is a failed product that is a fact that he's weak, because he can't win with senjutsu jiraiya, even if he able to beat pain, why didn't this plain man, use kagebunshin instead of summoning pakkun and doton doryuheki

Hokage Kakashi is stronger than Minato and Tobirama. His speed is arguably in the same tier as adult Naruto, based on the Kashin Koji scaling. According to the Hiden novel, he’s faster than a woman who’s a blitz tier above Raikage Ay’s lariat, so he’s at BARE MINIMUM physically as fast as Minato and Tobirama, but he has FAR more AP and versatility than they do. Kakashi honestly erects a massive mud wall, makes 5 clones, spreads them out across the village, and one taps each path of pain with shinden. Hokage Kakashi vs Hashirama is a better discussion to have.

@@DBKG29 Show me the speed scaling that puts Minato on adult Naruto level. If you can’t prove he can react to adult Naruto, you can’t prove he can react to Kakashi. As far as a counter for FTG, Kakashi has an omnidireccional shinden he uses in Boruto’s graduation exams that works as a perfect counter for FTG. Kakashi is stated and shown to he significantly stronger than he was during the war arc, so saying without the sharingan he’s plain as milk is verifiably false, according to Kishimoto himself.

Naruto need senjutsu for speed, minato doesn't need senjutsu because he learn hiraishin no jutsu, then if kakashi speed is faster than minato why minato has the title flash instead of him? Even he's stronger after war that doesn't mean he can take the title of yellow flash to him, he doesn't have a flash title on him? Adult naruto would lose to kakashi in term of speed of course because he need senjutsu for that, it shown in naruto the movie where he died and being revived back to live, he uses senjutsu to get closer to the monster itself. While minato doesn't have to use senjutsu for speed, because he have hiraishin no jutsu, then tell me how fast he is? How did he counter hiraishin? With shinden? Like chidori nagashi sasuke? In terms of speed minato still top tier, he can even mark the place he went before, it is shown as he mark obito while facing him
