Okay but the Kid's section part kinda makes sense to me. I think it's for authors who are also parents who want to take their kids out of the house but also need to get some of their writing done so they take them there, allowing them to do their writing while their child(ren) play nearby close enough for them to keep an eye on them.

You nailed these Syd! I work in a library and how fun would it be if the genre sections had themed decor! I think my favorites are the graphic novel and mystery study rooms and the memoir bathroom, it looks so peaceful! For the thriller bathroom I would have maybe added some neon wall lights in a greenish-blue since a lot of the covers in the genre seem to have that vibe. Also fun fact that I learned while working in the library, there is a whole sub-genre in mystery about animals (mainly dogs and cats) helping to solve crimes. They usually have pun based names and feature a dog or cat (or both) on the cover! So the paw prints are actually appropriate!

The historian bedroom is definitely my favorite. I’m not exactly sure on the genre but my favorite book of all time definitely has to be ‘a thousand splendid suns’ followed by “the kite runner’ both written by the same author. Ugh the way I cried to both those books and felt attached to the characters??
