Eachine EV100 upgrade

I have a problem with ev100. Sometimes the screen suddenly overexposed or darkened during flight. Is there a way to solve?

remove recorder if connected to googles. Form all camera`s or just one?

@@francescomorigi7191 Do you have external DVR connected to your ev100 googles, remove it. Verify your fpv camera compatibility. (PAL/NTSC standards)

Hey thanks for the video, my goggles are definately having the problem and need the capacitor fix/firmware upgrade. Do you know if Eachine is offering the fix for free or do I have to buy it? It seems like their faulty product should be covered.

Hello Yes, I have read about this problem. I am not 100% sure, but from which I remember this problem occur If you try to upload new firmware on old version EV100 goggles. This happening because new firmware size is bigger that the size of memory chip. Now, only solution is to remove(unsolder) your memory chip and flash it separate with old firmware. Or, buy new memory chips which support new firmware. www.banggood.com/custlink/3mGKG7KuoB But, in both cases you should unsolder your winbond memory chip. I ordered the EV100s in Jan.. Is there a easy way to check if I got the revised model? Are they putting the larger Cap on the new ones as well? Whatever version I have mine flicker pretty bad. Enough that I don't trust flying anything but my Whoops with them.

If you have image distrosion like this static.rcgroups.net/forums/attachments/7/2/2/9/8/2/a10391446-151-blackbar.jpg then certainly you have old version. Also you can open your goggles to verify capacitor. Good luck

Hi i see you know what you are doing.... i desolder the chip and know i have big problems with my signal strength. Max 30 meter than just snow. I try to use a extern diversity Modul but nothing change? Any idea what i can do? Best regards from Germany

Hello. I believe you don`t have specialized equipment to verify RF signal stretch. My advise, Check video link quality with other video receiver(just for reference: hobbyking.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/legacy/catalog/86438.jpg) at the same distance with the same antennas.If image is good quality then, yes, your googles RF module has malfunction. Also, If you have other video transmitter (other camera) try with your goggles to see link quality. From your description, is sims like your camera transmitter has problem not goggles receiver.
