I love my EV200D goggles but I was able to fly a pack on a friend's EV300D goggles and thought they were a big upgrade. The screens were amazingly bright and sharp, I saw no latency at all with my 5" acro quad and adjusting the focus for my eyes took only a couple of seconds. I was able to see the screens perfectly, edge to edge, though I can not with my EV200Ds. The software and on screen displays were a big upgrade as well.

I'm still rocking HD2's from 2015, not to be confused with the HD02's of today. Still love them, no need to upgrade. But, someday the DJI stuff will have to make it's way to my fpv bag, for sure. These look good for newcomers though, nice option for sure.

Would love to see a test of latency using the 5.8ghz receivers. No one on the internet has shown low latency, so your video will set a solid data point. I am always impressed by your detailed tested and would love to see them for latency test on these. Everyone just claims that they don't feel any latency but no actual video.

Great review. I was very happy with my ev200d goggles. My son in law is rocking those now. If Eachine could just step up their quality control a bit, I'd have no problem recommending the ev300d goggles. Hopefully they quickly get a handle on the latency issue. Happy flying. 💖🤓

Has anyone found a good battery setup for. this? The included 18650 battery case lasts 15minutes tops even with6000mah. A 3s pack will last an hour but the goggles osd battery level only works for 2s so you don't have indication is 3s is low so it drops too low blacks out goggles and you ruin your 3s pack.
@KremerFPV4 жыл бұрын
Which 18650 batteries are you using? I think that you might have either fake or defective ones. I need to double check it but you might be able to set the voltage warning level thought the settings of the goggles.
@Shauny_D4 жыл бұрын
Gal Kremer can't set voltage in goggles settings. Have tried 4 different sets and brands and mah values of 18650's. Also just a regular 2s lipo. Anything "2s" immediately shows as half battery level. I'm hoping someone found the right combo of 3s/4s and mah capacity that keeps these running for a couple hours. Nice goggles after the latency firmware update but battery killers for sure. And both the little boy stick buttons have broken on mine after a month of use. I have to jam a toothpick in there to use them. Eachine does not support warrenty btw. Spent 3weeks sending videos and pictures showing the issues. Eventually they said, ship them to us in China we MIGHT be able to fix if you aren't lieing but if we can't fix will ship them back at your exspense. Never dealing with Eachine again that's for sure.

I bought these goggles and like so many others, I feel the latency pretty heavily. We're trying to get Eachine's attention to this issue and sure hope it's solvable with a firmware update. With the Chinese new year and the corona virus situation, we're still waiting. Banggood simply doesn't care when ppl complain, and some ppl already complained to PayPal to get their money back. Assuming you have a production unit, your latency result came out as a surprise to me, as 100ms (aprox.) has been quite consistent... I've heard that someone tested a pre-production unit and got a really low latency, but as I could not confirm, I will not mention names or values. What I know is that the box claims a low latency display and even with the value you got, these are still some of the goggles with one of the biggest delays on the market today. I'll wait a few more days to get some kind of reaction or solution from Eachine. If they don't provide one, I'll complain to PayPal, as some ppl already did.

changing the receiving module? Does latency decrease?

@BrunoGomes6664 жыл бұрын
@@davidulivelli from the tests many ppl are doing, it changes nothing. Using the AV in, the same. The only decrease ppl noticed (supposedly) is when using the hdmi in.
