I'm thinking between this bundle and making my own but I don't know what kind of radio to pick to stay within the budget but also don't end up with a paper weight later down the line. I really wish they had offering without goggles because I won't get my money back for these when I decide to upgrade... to put it simply I'm too poor to cheap out on stuff that matters in the long term.

Nice vid, very helpful in deciding where to start with FPV and grow with it. Your audio in studio is good but the volume drops a lot when you’re narrating the flight. It was hard to hear with upping the volume quite a bit on my phone (with buds). Thanks!

Hey Jack, which drone has better camera between B12 EIS and F11 Pro 4K. Any idea when Bugs 19 is coming? Solo traveller can't afford DJi Mavic Mini 2, so a decent camera budget drone will help

I can't get the drone to set the vtx to 400 mWatts... I try on betaflight but even after saving it, it reverts to 25 mW. How do you do it?

So I been flying my Novice 4 for about a week. 1 of the 4 batteries of the 15.2 v 4s.. when I charge it the volt lower. doesn't charge.. Also the blue charger gets super hot and I need to wait everytime for it to cool before the next battery. The GPS rescue fell out in the soccer field on first hard crash on grass. And for some reason I lose video within a distance of a 100 yard soccer field. Trying to figure out how to check if the Vtx signal is already set at 400 or is at 25? But shoot way better than my GEPRC TINYGO. night and day . Love this drone .. looking into 5inch fpv drone soon.

I am trying to re bind my Novice IV to the TX12.. I waited 3 months for all the new Arms.. 2 motors and extra screws. I think TX12 settings got mixed up.. Which Frysky do I use.. D16 D8 I can see video feed in the box goggles..

I like this as well as the other Novice drones but the thing I don't like is the kit. I just want the drone but I seem forced to buy the whole package which I'm not going to do. I just ordered the rekon3 which should be shipping any day now and I'm pretty stoked for it. But I will have to pass on this for now until I can buy just the drone. Even then if it were possible, there's plenty of options in the 4" long range category.

I'm looking for a long range cinema mountain dive/cruise quad with a full GoPro and preferably the DJI system: Would you recommend the Novice IV or rather something like the Nazgul5? I have the Cinelog 25 HD and the DJI FPV drone but look for something more durable and longer range.

I'm new to fpv and have done alot of research and with all the bundles out this is by far the best for a beginner you get great goggles and radio along with a great drone just awesome however I find that it is only 200mw so I wouldn't and haven't tested the range but it is awesome👍🤌

The components are good. Goggles and remote can be used with other drones in the future. They don’t make an advanced kit. Novice is just the name.

It depends how you want to fly. If you want freestyle flying this isn’t the right drone. But a powerful 5” drone can be dangerous for a beginner

I've gotten 4 miles out with 4s1p 2600mah li-on pack that easily gets me over 35 minutes of flight time. I modded mine a bit and went with inav 3.0 and replaced the stock GPS for one with compass combo.

Hi I happen to love 3in and 4in quads. I happen to love this RTF kit except for one problem. The PRICE !!! Now with the Jumper radio comes in at $90 and the googles at $80 the rest is the quad. YES ! it does come with 2 batteries and a charger, but I don't see them costing ore than $30 for the quality of them. $440 is to much ! ESPECIALLY when you can purchase a 5in RTF WIZARD 220 RTF and a pair of EV-800DM and SAVE MONEY !! Thanks anyway ! but NO ! IT'S NOT THAT GOOD !

Not true. I actually took my 11 year old son to a flying field to fly this drone BECAUSE I wanted to see if it would hold up in a crash. I’m making another video on him learning FPV and you’ll see more crashes. There is at least one in the video. It does do alright in a crash because of its light weight. It isn’t meant to be a freestyle ripper but it can handle a crash or eight…still kickin

Nick Burns is awesome. I respect his opinions but we did crash the heck out of this thing. He did not. Ask him how many times he crashed. I do agree that it isn’t built as a freestyle drone but a long range cruiser.
