Allso the same as the Skyzone products I think? I was wondering what the diff between these 2 VTX's is (apart from the input voltage) I'd suggest using these VTX's at their lowest specified voltage by the way.. They won't get as warm & live a lot longer.. At their maximum voltage, they will fail after a while (ask me how I know that :P)

I bought the TS832 and so did my friend. We both have those artifacts / lines / noise .. Even without a quadcopter or anything else electrical running anywhere nearby. Also this transmitter is very noisy on other channels than the one selected and does interfere with other people flying FPV nearby. We found one channel that we were able to pick up on 8 different channels on the receiver :-) But we were easily able to find 2 channels that did work together and the lines/noise isn't that bad that you can't fly with it. Concerning running it on a 4S battery. You should keep it running for 10 minutes and then immediately check it's temperature. Then chose for yourself if you are comfortable with that in the long run.

I use an 832 TX on my WLToys V666, with CP antennas. I replaced the smaller FPV transmitter with this one on the lens-modded V666 camera. (channel 38 for the WLtoys receiver BTW) I use a smaller 7.4v 2s battery attached to the top of the quad to run the FPV system as I've found it to be the most effective way of eliminating electrical noise from the video. Filters have not helped much on my V666 and I also want to spare the flight battery. Even running at base voltage on a smaller battery the system works very well, and with CP antennas multipath interference is of course eliminated. Great stuff as usual, Andy!

that's good to know Michael. this quad setup is running a 4s however that can't stop me down stepping it to 7v. I might give it a try cheers. that's a nice setup for your v666!

Try aiming your cloverleaf down instead of up, that way its always in line of sight. I have the same transmitter and not had problems as much as yours.
@CrisisActorJonsiri8 жыл бұрын
if you use the balance port and an adapter that goes from 4 pin balance to jst, it will reduce interference.

Greetings! Just got myself this set. Everything seems to be working alright, but the transmitter is running hot at 12 volts.After 3 minutes it is painful to the touch. Is it OK or should I rip the metal casing off and glue a nice radiator onto the power amplifier IC?

good thing I ran into this video Andy, I just found this transmitter in my hobby box, I am trying to get audio out of it but do not know how can you help. thanks

These transmitter and receiver are neither Boscam nor Eachine. Manufacturer is unknown. Both transmitters are 400mW; 450mW on some channels.
@AndyRCchannel9 жыл бұрын
everywhere sells them as boscam and being 600mw they are uber cheap and work nice for me. many products in this hobby are rebranded.
@arnepetry9 жыл бұрын
you can also use immersion or flyingfolk antennas which are equal or even better, but I found the aomways to be very good value... btw: using better antennas did more to my range them the step from 200 to 600mw; 200mw with a good antenna gives at least double the range to 600mw with bad antenna...
@AndyRCchannel9 жыл бұрын
yes definately makes a difference these were just antennas I had lying around. I need to upgrade

Novice question. If I have a Eachine 5802D dvr monitor (5.8ghz) and a Eachine TS 832 transmitter, do I also need a seperate receiver or is there a receiver built into the 5802 monitor?

Is the picture quality and the artefacts that you saw in the video typical for most FPV setups in this price bracket (or the more expensive boscam versions). At this range I was expecting it to be artefact free.

Dear rc model reviews I am looking to buy a RC quadcopter for my birthday I have looked at Hobbyking ready to fly quadcopter but I seen your video talking about how hobby king aren't always reliable so I was wondering if you could help me choose the parts to buy to make the quad copter the budget for the quadcopter is £120 and that will include everything apart from FPV Gear it will be my first time flying a proper hobby grade quadcopter but I know what I'm doing because I am well knowledged in quadcopters and I have flown cheaper quadcopters in the past thanks for the help.

Hi I think I might be making my own quad I have got a base f450, soldering stuff, electric tape, a electric dispersion board, motors props and esc, a transmitter and receiver all I need is a flight controller but I want to keep it on a budget, I want it to be simple and if there is a cheap one I may want to add GPs later in the year, thanks is there anything I'm missing apart from that
@AndyRCchannel9 жыл бұрын

+AndyRC is there a cheap flight controller you can suggest
@AndyRCchannel9 жыл бұрын
the CC3d is the cheapest. its used on the cheap quadcopter build check it out :) you cant add gps to a cheap board though and theres no alt hold either. to add gps you would have to go with the naze32 but be careful with that as it only has ppm input (all down one wire) other than that u are alooking at 80gbp for the cheapest GPS enabled flight controller
@ReallyHarrison9 жыл бұрын
+AndyRC there is a apm 2.6 which is around £20 which has a gps input have you seen this,thanks for the reply

Hi Andy, Did you manage to get the TS 835 working with 3S / 4S lipo? I recently got one from Banggood, plugged in everything, I am able to see the FR and CH digits on the VTX but no video output on any of the channels. I have tested this using my fatsharks and even a RC 305 VRX. The RX on the fatsharks are the BETA bands one ("Fat Shark Dominator 5.8GHz Receiver Module, BETA Bands") The seller sent me a second one as a replacement but I am seeing the same issue. I am wondering if I am missing out something critical. Thanks.

+AndyRC You can put a normal diode in line to bring the voltage down ~700mv, which also protects it from being connected the wrong way :) I would really suggest that cheap (actually free, if you get the diode from the rectifier of a broken piece of electronic for example) mod, since you don't want your copter to suddently lose its video connection when you are least inticipating it!
