Being a flat spin putter..I love putting with proxy’s. They also added extra range to my jump putts. Also recently found an old Innova star mirage with the numbers -3 1. Messed around with it and not a fan of the bead but it’s a ringer from distance.

Eagle is probably the most talented disc golfer in the game. His backhand distance, forehand accuracy and putting makes him hard to beat when he’s on his game. Injuries have limited him the past few years but if he can push through he could definitely be a world champ in the next few years. What he did at the European Open a few years back was crazy. Throwing with both hands was nuts and he was unstoppable. He has always been on the cusp but may lack the finishing mentality Paul and Ricky have. That could come with age and more experience. Wherever he goes, he will sell discs with his signature line. Good luck to Eagle on what’s next.

I putt with the evs too and have thought about switching but then I’ll have a good putting round and remember when I suck it’s just me and not the pitter

Eagle speculation - Of all the big companies, Innova is the only one that doesn't seem to have a huge contract. The companies represented by Ricky, Paul, and Simon sort of rule out another huge deal for those. Calvin probably deserves a big deal with Innova, but Eagle has so much brand and fan power. I really don't know where he is going that can pay him the money he deserves. Not to mention a lot of the Discmania molds are based off Innova, so seems like a pretty easy transition. Maybe wishful thinking as an Innova dork😁, but that would be the deal they've needed for a few years now✌🦅🧝🌱

If Eagles surgery is succesful and he gets back to old form, if innova could lock him down for 5 years its probably an insanely good signing for them, innova is really popular with people that have played for a long time and older generation but with Eagle on the team i think they would get alot of the young people aswell

Been going thru a bit of a putter crisis/switch myself. Putted with links for the better part of 3 years and finally realized they weren’t for me. Recently been toying with some old dx San Marino aviars and I think I’ve found the replacement. So thankful infinite has an open bag structure to encourage change in someone’s bag or preferences. Definitely keen to learn what you end up with as a putter going forward. I'm far from a pro, but it really does seem like over time as form and skill and mental approach evolve, it's worth reassessing things like putters. I played an entire year with the same putters (Westside Shields), and I'll likely continue on with them, but definitely pulling some that I've held onto off the shelf and giving them a few tests as well. Good wishes for the search.

Join me on the MVP Train with the Ohm. Gonna be shallow and straight on the putt, good for throwing, not quite envy, complements watt. Only downside is only Neutron. so if you like baseline feel, then that not going to work. But, you can basically just go right to streamline pilots and get the same flight on the electron and they have soft, medium and firm. Then some extra firms if you know someone who has a stash of those.

Just saw Brod fall in love with the Marvel but only after he bests it in a little to get the mini concave/puddle top in the middle. Try out a Lat64 Hope! They naturally come with the concave/puddle top in the middle so your thumb can rest against it for a tighter grip.

I just switched to Electron Firm envy’s. Low profile, no bead and slight over stability make it perfect. Based on what you said during your “review” pixel, the envy may be perfect for you too

It has to be MVP or Innova. Reuniting with Simon and forming the three-headed dragon of Eagle, Simon, Conrad is appealing. Also, I think Innova might be trying to capitalize on Calvin’s huge 2023 by bringing in another top MPO player when the fire is as hot as it has been in years. Plus, his dad is an OG disc thrower and he threw Innova discs in the 90’s and early 2000’s, so maybe that nostalgic angle is at play since Eagle’s dad is a HUGE part of who Eagle is as a person and disc golfer.

Judge for me. They come in a crazy amount of different plastics and will still be in production for a long time to come. But for the more average casual player I'd really recommend just sticking with a putter and practicing more. It's rare that switching up leads to any increase in success.

Discmania losing Eagle is crazy, but losing Paul Krans was just as big to me because Krans is the future of Disc Golf. That being said, Innova is the only company left without a monster contract, it has to be them.

@austing7820 I doubt it because mvp would be pushed to match Simon's contract, and I think people over estimate eagles brand compared to Simon's simply because simons has 10× the exposure. Eagle will likely need to take around max 250k yearly for a company to pull the trigger. MVP might have that capital avaliable, but I wouldn't find it likely. For reference, Simon's sold nearly 1/3 more plastic than the next closest market competitor last year.

I've been putting baseline TUIs for 3 years. Maybe too understable for low elevations but great for mountain play. Incredibly, they all fly exactly the same-- plug and play. Plus, great for small to medium hands with its narrow mold.

I think lonestar bit off more than they could chew. Once the hype wore off, I think they were slowly realizing their ROI wasn't great. They're going the "everyone's sponsored" approach that trilogy did and prodigy. Give the average player 3 discs a year (assumption), and they can only throw my company? That means they're buying an extra 12-20 discs to fill their bag. I think you also have to sign someone that can promote and sell product. Simon is the greatest salesman currently, and mvp got a hell of a deal. Hard to tell what volume he's bringing in for them.

I feel like Innova is content just selling Sexton Firebirds. They also have Calvin, Big Jerm, Double G, Barsby, Philo, Joel Freeman, Jennifer Allen, Hailey King and plenty of others. Easy to forget how stacked their roster is already. MVP and Prodigy make the most sense to me, but I don’t think Eagle would go to Prodigy after seeing how many have left there over the years. Prodigy and Innova don’t value their stars in comparison to other companies

Indeed. I'm in agreeance with you on that House of Discs issue. I don't see him going from Discmania to basically a parent company. I think it will be outside of that influence. Innova seems like the right fit, but who knows. If he goes to MVP, that would be insane as well. @@DrewGibson
