That’s just incredible guys. Such a steep hike and looked so hot and muggy. And that ridge looked rather airy! But what a viewpoint!!!! Scary drop but incredible vista. 2,000 feet straight down - yikes! As Pete said - a proper adventure! A lot of trees down! Wow that rain across the sea was spectacular All in all an amazing hike on an incredible island. Have a great weekend guys.

Ah guys another gorgeous hike even with a bit of rain and I can see why you never get bored with it :) I would have thought to call it osprey rock too ! Bit steep but I loved the coastal views, it must have been a bit hard with it being muggy though. Amazing views from the top like Pete said, unreal with that vertical drop though, scary 😯⛰️ Great drone footage as always, so clear but good thing you got it before that cloud came. Such a very beautiful place and it looked lovely when you came down into the village which was really pretty. Peters bar looked nice, you did well to resist a Peters 😃That wild swim spot looked fabulous with it being so sheltered and a bar there ! 😃Great video as always both ~ Anna 👍

Hey Anna, Hope you and yours are keeping well? Thank you for your lovely feedback as ever! This was one of our favourite hikes, a stunning way to finish an amazing week in Madeira. Starting from the Porto Da Cruz side was super steep! The path got better on the Faial side, but in our opinion, the views were better down to Porto da Cruz, so worth the steep climb! If a little nerve wracking standing on the edge 😮😂⛰️🙈. Pete had fun with the drone, and just in time too before the clouds rolled in. To finish in Faial at the pools was incredible, what a day! And what a trip!😍. Hope you have a fabulous weekend, Thanks again Shell and Pete 😊👊👍

Hey Pete and daughter Shell (sorry, Ken’s fault!!), nice opening track by Ken!!! What’s with the rain? Looks beautiful as always, those levadas are really cool. This looks a stunning walk, but too steep for us though and the humidity doesn’t sound like fun, but enjoying seeing it from your eyes!!! It looks very hot there. Shell, you’re bombing it up there, keep up Pete!!! Sketchy near the top? full on damn crazy more like, nearly there…oh hang on, no you’re not 😂. The views through the trees is stunning but watch your step there!! Rach is having major anxiety just seeing Shell stood by that drop. Made you feel uneasy? Rach is still shouting get away from the edge!!! We’re glad you’re doing this so we don’t have to 😂. Wow, how big is that trig point?! Ah more of Ken’s music, excellent stuff!! Blimey, all that crawling under trees doesn’t look fun, but worth it for the views. Looking at that rock behind you…rated easy? You’re having a laugh!!! Looks pretty damn crazy to us!! We’ve really enjoyed your Madeira videos!! Nice one both, we loved that. Cheers, tata for now!! Saved the best till last, that pool looks absolutely stunning!! And there’s a bar there, perfect!!! Cheeky beers and sun burnt Brits 😂🍻☀️ Ace!!! X

Hey guys, Happy Friday to you! Holiday eve for you two!🎉 Hope you managed to get the two videos in the bag!🤞. Hahaha, Ken does wonders for a girls ego, especially a girl who happens to be turning 40 on Sunday😬😂🙈. This was one of our favourite hikes, a stunning way to finish an amazing week in Madeira. Starting from the Porto Da Cruz side was super steep! The path did get better on the Faial side, but in our opinion, the views were better down to Porto da Cruz, so worth the steep climb! If a little nerve wracking standing on the edge 😮😂⛰️🙈. Not for the faint hearted, and shouldn't have been rated easy for sure 😳. Pete had fun with the drone, and just in time too before the clouds rolled in. To finish in Faial at the pools was incredible, what a day! And what a trip!😍. Cold beer, sunshine and sea, perfect! 🌊 🌞🍻 Hope you have a fabulous holiday! Safe travels, and Thanks as always for giving our little videos a watch Shell and Pete 😊👊👍

I never mind a shower when I am abroad, nice and refreshing, especially when you have a climb like that in the sun. Those bananas must have been a temptation if you were feeling peckish but not that keen on the 'nice, steep wet, rocks going up - steepy, steep, steep indeed! Fair play that view from the top was stunning but that was once sketchy descent as well and I bet you were pleased to get back down on flat ground again albeit road. It drives me mad when idiots rate walks like this as easy, so annoying and potentially dangerous for someone going off that rating as well. Surprised you by passed Peters bar but that cooling dip looked amazing as did the two cheeky beers, cheers Alan

Hi Alan, Hope you keeping well, we have had a very busy couple of weeks, hoping to catch up with your adventures this weekend 😊👊. This was one of our favourite hikes, the views from the Porto Da Cruz side were well worth the steep climb and dodgy drop offs😮😂. The path did get much better on the Faial side of the hill, but we totally agree, rating something like this as easy can be really dangerous, we aren't the most experienced climbers, but we don't mind heights and are ok with steep paths. We would hate for someone who wasn't to attempt this hike and get caught out 😳. Certainly is a gorgeous place though, we will be back one day, but for now, that's the end of our Madeira adventures! That swim was the perfect way to end a brilliant holiday 🌊😊. Hope you have a great weekend, All the best, And thanks as always for stopping by, Shell and Pete 😊👊👍

Would u have a Gpx of the route that u did?

How did you map your walk? What did you use?
@o.bsoutdoors38715 ай бұрын
We use an app called relive for the video we use at the end of our hikes, it is free for the basic version and we have found it pretty useful👍. Pete also carries a gps sat map for mapping and safety in the mountains ⛰️🙏

@@o.bsoutdoors3871 I have 1 child, 20 years old now. He was an outstanding baseball player and recently and unfortunately blew out his pitching arm. So he’s currently finishing college. Great kid, 6’5” tall. 250 lbs. and size 18 American shoe size. The kid scares me! Actually he’s a gentle giant.
