Just saying but I would love to see the new world vultures next and I would love to see them because they include the big Andean condor, California condor, Turkey Vulture, Leaser and greater yellow headed vultures, Black Vulture, King Vulture and giant extinct birds of prey like Teratornis and Argentavis and the family that teratornis belonged to included some of the largest known flying birds.

Just have one question? Weren't there eagles species that were large enough to kill and carry off human beings? I thought I had read somewhere that on island and villagers or rather immigrants first hit those islands some of them were killed by Giant Eagles who mistook them for their favorite prey, a type of large dodo like bird. I've watched so many documentaries I may be getting confused?

Haast Eagle, smaller than the argentavis, but big enough to have preyed upon the giant moa and *possibly* primitive people. Heck, even modern people, if they are kneeling, are nothing these birds, and *might* make those birds big enough to be a threat. *If* they weren't extinct, and they could, while with enough oxygen to let even an argentavis to fly, would ride one.

Still, the Haast's Eagle was the largest predatory bird after only Teratorns, so Argentavis and relatives, wich, according to more recent studies, particuralry in beak anatomy weren't obligate scavengers and instead massive predators, with a few species being in between hunters and scavengers, like modern caracaras.

The Philippine Eagle I believe is the longest living eagle from beak to tail tip. Just sayin as I’m from the Philippines and have researched about it. It’s not the heaviest or strongest but it’s in the top 5. Harpy is most likely the strongest as they have hardier prey or the African crowned. Would love to cross a monkey eating eagle to an African crowned or Harpy just to make a hybrid that can survive outside the rain forests. 😁
