Hmmmm...this inspires me to scratch build one. A little sculpey, balsa wood, paint, glue....a cool project. Thanks for the video!

With the release of the First Batmobile casting from Mattel’s Hot Wheels Gold Label, I might as well come back to your wonderful videos. Glad we finally have a 1/64 scale version.

+YoSneeze It really is cool. The first Batmobile!! It doesn't get enough credit. Do you collect?

+Arkham89 - The Batmobile I collect 1/64 scale but i'm think about venturing into larger castings. Only thing is the prices are intimidating you know.

Very nice model, I never knew there were so many variations of the Batmobile, and especially this Red one being the first ever, very cool!!! Thanks for sharing!!

It's crazy, right? I knew there were quite a few designs created over the past 75 years but I had no idea about the varied history of the Batmobile. I'm learning so much from making these videos. I'm still hoping Eagelmoss will eventually release all 80 planned issues. Thanks for watching and commenting! Take it easy.

Thanks again, buddy! I sometimes wonder if I'm including too much info in the videos so it's nice to know everyone is enjoying it. I'm hoping to do more videos now that it's the summer time.

Another great review I would have to say my personal favourite Batmobile is split between the 89 and the animated it was great to see thst one in the video.
@LuciusFoxCar10 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Jaime. The '89 and the Animated Series Batmobiles are definitely in my top 5 list. I go through phases (almost the same way I do with which Superman uniform I prefer) where my absolute favorite changes but those two Batmobiles are always somewhere at the top of my list. They're both such classic yet timeless designs.

Another outstanding review Richard! Really, these are so well done. All are incredibly informative and flow so well. You're really good at this man:-) This batmobile is another great addition to the line. I love old 40's car styles and this design is just awesome.

Thanks, Mike! Hopefully I'll be able to churn out a few more videos on a regular basis now that I'm off for the summer. Still having a great time making these. I can see why you guys do these review videos. It kinda takes the collecting to a different level. I'm gonna stick with the Batmobile videos. I think between you and Stewart, the Superman collectibles are always covered. :-) Thanks again for watching, buddy. Take it easy!

Wow I had no idea about any of this backstory! I LOVE that his first Batmobile was basically just Bruce's own car! LOL ahh it was a more simpler time :-) The design is so classic and like Bar, I do see subtle similarities in design between this and the 89 car. One of your best reviews to date Richard, was absolutely engrossed throughout. Cannot wait for your next review....hopefully you'll have the Arkham Batmobile (and quite a few more!) on it's way soon ;-) Thanks for sharing buddy

As always, thanks for watching! This one was particularly fun to make. I had seen images from Detective Comics #27 but I've never really read the book. It's so funny to discover those differences in the artwork and story compared with the comic book creations over the past 25 years. It's so easy for me to look at many modern day comics (especially Batman) and recognize it as primarily a medium for adults. That's not always the case with the stories from the Golden Age. :-) Thanks again for helping with the latest batch of Batmobiles. There are some exciting models in the next haul!! Really looking forward to reviewing a couple of those. Take care.

first off.. i thought for sure i subbed to your channel.... so i apologize. i remember you talking about it, and never saw anything... so what better one to start off with (then i can binge watch).. i had no idea they were doing this car... LOL i always thought it was funny Bruce and Batman drive the same car,,, just like in the 1940 serials.. Bruce top down.. Batman top up... these are so cool Richard.. as soo as this one is over.. I will be off to watch the first review! oh and i just heard Superman made it safe to his next destination.

Rob! No problem, buddy. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video. It means a lot considering how knowledgeable you are about the Bat-universe. I've mentioned in other posts about how familiar I've always been with Batman but doing these videos has been a real history lesson for me. I've also discovered some great Batman stories through my examination of these Batmobiles. It's become a really cool little side hobby. Thanks again for watching!

LOL this is gonna sound like a stupid question. But do you know if the tires rotate? My local comic shop has a few of these I was considering picking one up to roll around my desk at work, but I didn't know if it was a true model in the sense that it's a display piece only. Most of the reviews I've found keep them in the case, so they never say if the wheels rotate.
@LuciusFoxCar9 жыл бұрын
Mshake008 Hey Mshake008, Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. It's definitely not a stupid question. These Eagelmoss Batmobiles are more like statues. I love this entire line and they typically do a great job with their models. The only real downside to Eaglemoss Batmobiles is the fact that they have absolutely NO moving parts or special features. They are simply awesome display pieces - no moving tires or opening doors/hoods. They are very detailed but they are literally meant for display only. Are you familiar with the Corgi Batmobiles? They are not as extensive as Eaglemoss but their models do have moving tires and other features.

LOL too late. I got one anyway. Grab "The Batman" V2 batmobile. It's cool to have on my desk none the less. Thx for the response.

How do you display your eaglemoss batmobiles? I know you have a video showing your display but I was wondering if you've changed it? or left it the same? do you still stack them and put them on a shelf? I not sure how I'm going to display mine? I thought about stacking them as well, I guess that would be the best way.
@LuciusFoxCar10 жыл бұрын
Hey Tim, I still display them stacked and on the shelf that you see in my very first video. The cases are almost designed to be stacked. I have a haul of about five or six new Batmobile models coming within the next couple of weeks. I will be out of room on that shelf after that haul comes in! I will definitely need to get a new display case or think of something else. That shelf currently only holds the Eagelmoss portion of my collection. My other models (Hot Wheels, Tommy Tomica, etc.) are on the top shelf of a bookcase in my office. I'm planning on doing a haul/collection/subscribers video after that next haul comes in. Thanks. Take it easy.

is there any die cast 1:18 batmobile of this first batmobile for sale? thank you for someone response

Does the wheel spins?
@LuciusFoxCar8 жыл бұрын
+Mr Kudoz No. That's probably the main complaint that I hear about the Eaglemoss line. It's a great (and very comprehensive) line of models but they don't have any moving parts or features. The flip side is that you get the display diorama and the sheer variety of Batmobile designs that they have released is impressive.
