Easily. I feel the same way about the suit in the OG movie too. It's fantasy, so I honestly couldn't care less about it being realistic with practical head-turning neck and nonsense like that. Batman isn't realistic in the first place, and just like with comics it's a vibe, stylistic, all about the look of the piece far more than realism and practicality.

LIDAR scans of large objects is not joke. - Some algorithms that combine the data will sometimes flatten protruding details (like a nose. - Some materials need to be coated if you want them to show up. - Then there's mechanical error-drift from whatever gimble you use to either move the LIDAR or move the target. What I'm trying to say is, getting high-detailed LIDAR scans of large objects is no joke.

I have been awaiting mine to arrive and had reservations until this video, you clearly see every inch from every angle in 4k and its brilliant. Great showcase, it dissolved any doubts I had. I have seen a few comments crying over price and $100 to some people is everything while 10k to some people is nothing. you live within your means and nothing is owed to anyone. If lucky we all get a limited number of rotations around the sun, so stop wasting that finite time worrying about others and focus on bettering yourself.
@codyt82128 күн бұрын
That’s a wonderful sentiment, but it still doesn’t change the fact the price for this is still utterly outrageous. 1400 is nothing to me, I live very well and am fortunate to do so, but this is just ridiculous. So many die hard Batman fans are never going to be able to get a chance to get this, and that’s such a sad thing. The outrageous prices for these models has caused such a terrible pay wall, that prevents a lot of fans all over the world from getting to experience the joy of collecting stuff like this. I’ve noticed it becoming a trend with a lot of these large scale models, not just this one. Star Trek ships are another ones that have become simply ridiculous to afford. This shouldn’t be any more than 500-600 dollars, and as a long time collector, they used to be in that price range. It’s just sad, and it’s really easy for people like you and me that can afford it, to tell those that can’t to get over it and that the world isn’t fair. You realize that right? It’s easy to look down the mountain at others when you’re already standing at the top.

@@codyt821 "I feel people don't understand how much something cost to get made. The only reason companies like Hot Toys (HT) can give 500-700 dollar 1/6 scale vehicles is they have the audience to allow them to make 50-80k units and divide cost. Looks at Blitzway that made some 40,000 Ecto1 at $1500. JazzInc's largest run ever is this 89 Batmobile and it's only around 2500 units give or take.... Math is math and you're getting a lot for your money." To say that this JazzInc 89 Batmobile's price is "ridiculous" and shouldn't be more than 500-600 dollars is inaccurate due to the economics of sale involved. The JazzInc price would certainly be much lower had they the capacity and capability to make 50-80k units as HT are capaple of doing. Sadly, the reality is that the former can't. I do undertand however that there will those who cannot afford this. That's a given.

A number of (off the shelf and sold as retail) digital cameras going back to about 2001-2002 were made that are precise enough to get engineering and architectural detail down to a point of less than one tenth of one millimeter. The cameras of this era were only about 5mp. It only worked with certain lenses, and then specifically only under certain apertures and focal lengths.

The way that model catches the shop lights is amazing. It looks just like the actual car. The biggest issue with this design is the afterburner. An afterburner works off of the exhaust from the jet engine. The problem is, this car has a cockpit between the engine and afterburner. I had the plastic model kit, which showed the engine exhaust on the bottom of the car just ahead of the cockpit. Now then, make it radio controlled!

Man what a beauty! Definitely my favorite Batmobile!👌🥰👍🦇❤️🔥Too bad I can’t never afford one! The front lights were taken from a Honda civic and the tail lights from a Ferrari! The chassis was from a Chevy impala and engine.

That is just beautiful. When I was little, and in Cub Scouts, my dad and I made a version of this for the Pinewood Derby race. I wonder if my parents still have pictures of it, because I'm sure it didn't look nearly as awesome as I remember it. lol
