I bought the XL Equinox as a Birthday gift to myself in January and I absolutely love the model! It's my favorite XL Eaglemoss ship thus far. It's well wort it.

Great review Captain Foley. The only ships in my collection I’ve upgraded to XL are the 1701-D and Akira class. Not sure if I wanna do that for the Equinox (yet).

I am so anxious to see the new Discovery ships such as the Discovery A ship coming out in the US and Canada. I have seen them in a few stores on eBay in the UK and Europe but I am not willing to pay that kind of shipping fees. I am hoping they will be out later this year.

The misalignment with the red paint how do you think this is not a big deal for a model that costs $80 ?

Why didn't they use the resources from the shuttle? I assume it was capable of warp. Surely there was hardware on it that could have been cannibalized.

Shuttle components are smaller than the Starship components.

While quite nice Eaglemoss always disappoint me for a static model that supposed to be displayed as an exhibition piece. The painting is always without fail terrible. How this is brushed over amazes me. To say its amazing grates me to the bone. I would expect the paint to line up perfectly in every hole, detail and window. They never do. I own my own model manufacturing company making model railway rolling stock and I can assure you we would be slated and ripped apart if we had paint issues even 1% as bad as this. Paramount need to share the licence to make these so that Eaglemoss have some proper competition!
