Fantastic review Richard, sorry it took me so long to get to it. Really appreciate the detail you went into with this one, I remember picking it up but didn't look at it too much. I LOVE that all the design features are mirrored front and back depending on which way Az-Bats was travelling. Knightfall and the associated books were some of my first introductions into the comic book world and I also adore the audiobook based on this storyline. Really sorry to see that one of the wheel bars was missing!! I didn't even pick up on that when it arrived and figured that's just the way it was meant to look. I suppose you can attach it facing the other direction and it'll look just right. Thanks again for sharing buddy, always enjoy these!

Do you miss the days of going to the store and looking for the latest issue? lol I'll always be appreciative of that. It's really a shame that the line did not continue and that it ended the way it did. SO many awesome Batmobiles that Eaglemoss could have made. I still have at least 60 or 70 that I could still use for a video, haha! An audio book for Knightfall?!? That would be great for some of my long commutes. I'll have to track that down. Love those 3D subway rats. When I first visited NYC I was shocked, shocked at the rats in the subway stations! Then I got used to them and then barely noticed them, like everyone else. If we can tolerate politicians, we can surely accept rats. This is an edition I'd get not for the car design but the diorama, maybe the best ever? That might be a topic for a video, comparing the different dioramas to decide which is the best. Who can resist 3D rats? Every home should have them. 3D rats made my Christmas.

Yeah that's kind of disappointing and there are still a ton of batmobiles still out there. You ever get a chance check out the history of the batmobile they show everyone ever made. Your videos have inspired me to get back into my passion of the batmobile. Eaglemoss and corgi are very good models.

Great review, as always. I think Eaglemoss painted their Subway Rocket black to differentiate theirs from the comic accurate Corgi Version. I have a bunch of the 1:43 scale Corgi Batmobiles and they are superior to Eaglemoss in just about every way. You should check out some of them if you can track them down. Thanks! I've heard about this Corgi version but I can't find it anywhere. I have several of the 1:43 scale Corgi Batmobiles, including a 1990's model, but I can't find the Subway Rocket. Arkham89 I was late to the party and only have the Corgis that I could get for a decent price on Evilbay. There are a handful of hard-to-find Corgi Batmobiles that I don't have. Some of which I have picked up the Eaglemoss versions as substitutions.

The closest thing to a real Bat-Train. I normally like blue in my Batman stuff, but this does look better in black.

Believe it or not, there is an actual Bat-Train - and Eaglemoss made a model of it!! It's from a comic in the Silver Age. I should do a review of that one. It's crazy! Thanks! I've heard about the Corgi version but I have not been able to find it. I was actually going to postpone doing this review until I got one. I cant' even find a picture of one. I have a blue 1990's Corgi that looks similar but it's not the same Batmobile. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could find one because that Corgi line of 1/43 scale models is awesome! In my collection, this model is not available - because I prefer the models on a scale of 1/24 and 1/18. This is a fairly rare batmobile, which can be found on ebay, but at a high price.

Unfortunately, the line is pretty much over. I had heard rumors that they were considering collection releases where they would have several related Batmobile models in one issue. That has not happened yet. It's too bad because, while they did release an incredibly varied line of Batmobiles, there are still so many other designs I'd love to see. We never even got a BvS Batmobile from them. Do you collect any of the line or any other Batmobiles? Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Take it easy!

Thanks! It's funny you should ask that questions. I've started posting pictures on my Instagram page of the Batmobiles I wish Eaglemoss would have made. There are so many missed opportunities - especially when you consider some of the crazy models they DID choose to make. I can't believe they never made a BvS Batmobile but I would also like to see the one from the Batman/Swamp Thing crossover and definitely the one we keep seeing in the recent DCAU movies like Son of Batman and Justice League Dark.
