It's terrible because outside of that one series where we drew up two back-to-back qb draws, Johnson called a really good game. This offense put up 24 points today without having the ball through most of the game. This defense is the worst I've ever seen it. We didn't come up with one single stop. I turned to my dad when Sidney Brown had the pick 6 (he only got it bc AZ messed up, not bc he's any good) and said, "That is the worst thing that could have happened to us bc now Arizona is going to get the ball back."

It’s not Hurts fault. What more could he have done today? When we have ran multiple qb draws on third and long what the hell is a qb supposed to do. It’s the offensive scheme. They never give him an easy pass/run. The coaching staff just asks him, Swift, brown, smith or Goedert to win every play individually without any help from the team around them. Individually our o line is the best in the nfl, but the coaching is so bad they never open up a big hole for the run. This ain’t a player problem, it’s coaching.

When Nick an most of this staff is fired in the offseason, I want to hear what happened behind the scenes this season. I fully expect a loss in NY next week and to lose at TB the following week. This is currently one of the worst teams in football. Did all these guys suddenly lose all their talents?

It’s not the players. The players individually won us our 11 games playing against the opposing team and their coaches. Every good play we have is our player beating the other teams player individually. It’s never a good play or good overall scheme. Nothing comes easy for this team on the offensive or defensive side bc our scheme and play calling is abysmal.

I said on the Eagle Eye comments a month ago that I’m not a “fire the coaches” guy, but that also we should be embarrassed with squandering the talent on this roster. Brian Johnson’s playcalling is beyond horrific and has been for over a month. Not bad, not amateurish, but just repulsive. If Nick can’t see that and isn’t capable of taking over play calling to seal a win against the worst team in the league AFTER THEY TRY A SHORT KICKOFF then not only do the Eagles need a new OC, but they need a new HC also. We know this team has talent on offense. If an “offensive mind” can’t get it going with the embarrassment of riches the Eagles currently have, then make the change now before we waste what precious time we have left with this plethora of offensive talent. An average coach should be able to run this team all the way to the big game, and I don’t see how the Eagles improve their roster to be better than it has been this season player for player. Not only am I worried this season will be a waste (which it is now - look at the body language on the sidelines) but I’m genuinely concerned a roster of unbelievable talent that should be dominating the entire NFC will be wasted if drastic changes are not made. As for the defence; just tear it down next year. A drop off in sacks was to be expected, but this is just unacceptable for a team that pours more resources into the D-line than just about anybody. As for our LBs and secondary, the vast majority are just not cut out to be starting. It’s as simple as that, and this constant reluctance to invest in the middle of the D at LB has been a 20+ year issue. Just accept the position not only has value, but the potential to change the outcome of any given game - as proved by our division rivals the Cowboys and Whiners. The most frustrating thing - and I’m sure Eagles fans will correct me if I’m wrong - is that the issues are SO OBVIOUS. We knew what the deficiencies were while winning games, and not addressing those flaws shows a distinct lack of awareness in terms of roster management and coaching. It’s just a shame that we only have Jalen, AJ, Slim and Dallas together for such a short space in time. I really fear the Eagles become one of those “what if” teams of years gone by if somebody doesn’t step up and take control of the situation. After watching us all season, I’d be an idiot to think that will happen.

Dear Philly fans, I am frustrated just like all of you with these last couple games. But as a fan base we need to have some damn class. We’re 11-5 and a couple plays from winning a SB last year. We are such poor losers. You can’t win the SB every year. We should still have Andy Reid as a coach if we could just go through a rocky road with some class. Bill Belichick is a proven winner and knows how to win Super Bowl games with a talented team, like we have now in Philly. I think we are complacent, over-confident and way too arrogant.
