Think in the year we had great sack rate was the offense put us up in points. Making the opposing offense pass the ball had alot to do with the amount of sacks. If our offense plays well we should be ok on the edge. My two cents

Certainly a part of the equation! Also coverage that held up a second longer gave the pass rush time to get home.

*If only this channel put in the time, work, energy, effort, in-depth, insightful analysis...* Yes, it's 100% sarcasm! I love this pod. While I certainly disagree with a few key points, they always have solid reasoning behind their stances. Great vid; think EDGE depth will be ok in the long run. Love that Baun could be used inside, off the edge and outside. With Nolan, BG, Bryce, Sweat, Baun, Carter at times, a tinge of Jalyx (and Calais 🤞) we're good.

Remember, it's "only" the "medium" of the offseason. By trading back for Hunt, they were able to turn that into a '25 third and fourth. As you guys mentioned, if the depth isn't enough (via injury or ineffective production), we have plenty of time and assets to acquire more talent. Really banking on Calais by Week 1.

Thanks a lot for your support! Curious to hear which points you differed from us on - always nice to hear the other side of things!

amazing work as always! I definitly think Fangio's scheme gives hunt and Nolan Smith the best chance to succeed. Does Fangio line players up in that creeper position in the a gap? if so do you think any of our edge rushers would be good in that position?
@EaglesXsandOs4 ай бұрын
Very kind words, we greatly appreciate your support! Sim pressures and creepers both can move LBs/DBs around the line. The A gap would generally be “mugged” by off ball LBs - likely Devin White.

Zach Baun gonna be our breakout star

Didn’t they restructure Sweat to reduce his dead cap ?

Yes, it was $21M before, now it’s $16M

With losing haas i think our pass rush is gonna take a hit... Vic might be able to scheme sacks but i dont see huge sack numbers and i think well be mid tier in the run game...callais Campbell is a guy i would love for vet presence...can play fhe run and give you 5 or 6 sacks... relying on baun and Nolan for sacks is scary...we lost our closer in haas and for a team that seems to be all in i dont get how Howie let that happen...

Huff and Sweat are good pass rushers. Them combined will probably have around 20 sacks. Haasan was never really 'elite' anyway. He seems to have benefited from poor competition tremendously.

@@TedTeddy-ej3dpI think the best way to describe him was elite against poor competition, and decent against good competition. There are other edge rushers who even give the best tackles fits

@@EaglesXsandOs yes exactly cuz sweat was the one really playing the good tackles

@@sob_meen as you may have heard in the Sweat episode, the talent is there. He needs better coaching, hopefully the new DL coach can make him more disciplined
