Good job David. Lessons are so easy and you explain each detail very clearly. I just started playing this great song about 3 months ago with a 4 piece group to entertain a group of seniors in assisted living facility. I've got quite a bit of music online myself cuz all I do is write songs and I usually only play my own stuff but this is one of my favorite songs I seen the eagles in 1978 when I was 13 at the Connecticut year bowl with hot in the Little River band first concert I ever went to I've been to 60 nine concerts in my life anyways it's not how I learned it I watched another guy he was playing it with a d and I'm like that don't even sound right it's just too many chords I'm not that good I play like three maybe four chords anyways I play a c and A g c g and a d so I don't know but I started watching it and I seen what you were saying and I'm like not too many chords don't sound right to me anyway thank you for doing what you do

Yeah, they are really good and I like them a lot. I do a lot of home recording and mixing and these monitors are really transparent and sound great. KRK makes some great stuff. I dont know if they make these models anymore as I have had these a long time - but they probably make an updated version. Good lesson. A way to improve future lessons is to show how to adjust to your vocal range. An easy way would be to capo up and sing in a lower octave. So many people think that they are poor singers, but really most people are decent singers if they sing in a key that works for voice.

As far as fingerpicking vs strumming - yeah, try both and experiment and see which u like best and what sounds the best to your ears and what is the most empowering for you. You dont have to always do one or the other - do them both and enjoy them all. Since you dont want to use a pick that is okay you can strum with your finger - lots of players do that, often they use their pointer finger in place of a pick and brush that finger nail against the strings to strum with their first finger. I have many guitar influences - Gary Moore, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Hendrix, SRV, and more. Yeah that’s fine for people who know how to sing but I can’t so this is why I am a finger style Solo instrumental guitarist and I don’t play by ear but read music been reading music for many years don’t know how to play by ear that’s why I read music the song playing it this way is very basic and very simple I like the challenge of doing it in finger style guitar it creates the need inside of me that makes me wanna play more I like hard stuff not simple I like it to become a real challenge 👎👍😆 But you’re doing a great job on the song have a great day

Hi Jim - the PRS I am plying at the end of the video is a USA made Pauls Model guitar. I love it - one of my fav PRS guitars. I have been playing PRS guitars a long time now and while I do play other brands as well I do really love the PRS models for sure. Their fit and finish is exceptional and just great playing and sounding instruments. That guitar I bought used on reverb.com years ago as I got a really good deal at that time.
