For a guy who readily admits to being virtually "toasted" 24/7 during this period of his life, he sure brought a truckload of creativity to the table. Joe Walsh is truly one of the all time greatest axe men.

I said, "Hello" to him at a local pub here in NZ in 1990. He was playing Pacific Reggae with the band 'Herbs' from the East Coast (of NZ). He found a way to sobriety and the association with local Maori helped him see a better very family oriented future. I think The Eagles were adopted as 'his tribe'.

@darrellpilon397911 ай бұрын
Very true but this is not the original Eagles line up. The majority of the 'Eagles' that we know and love, song-wise were composed/recorded between 1971~1980. Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner were original members and also very talented, just not represented in this, the latter era of the early Eagles. The Eagles first greatest hits album was released in 1976. Timothy actually came quite late to the band (1977), replacing Randy. Interestingly, Timothy replaced Randy in Poco, years earlier, prior to their Eagles tenure, but that is another interesting story.

Eagles have always had an official topic channel on here. It's just that before now, they didn't have much on it. Primarily due to Mr. Don Henley being a greedy POS and not letting either his back Eagles or back solo catalogue on here. To the point of where in his testimony before a Congressional committee during Covid he said that his record label dedicates 16 employees whose job it is to hunt down third party uploads of his songs and have them removed, which he said was a challenge in itself as a content creator because after you have one removed another shows up. Not sure what's changing Mr. Henley's attitude, because typically a greedy artist's material doesn't usually show up on here legally until they're six feet in the ground and their surviving family members are left to have to make ends meet by sharing their back catalogue on here because they can no longer rely on concert reunion tours to do so. That's what happened in Prince's case. I'm sure everyone remembers what a greedy POS he was. To the point of where he did everything he could to keep his back catalogue off here.
