As a former linebacker in high school and semi pro, a guy like JD is a linebackers dream. Jd will never fill up the stat sheet the things he does is not recorded but if he can stop the run and continue to eat up blocks(pause ) linebackers will always be able to run free and make plays. A guy like JD is invaluable.

NT make plays without making the tackle. If ur NT can get double teamed or tripple teamed when u have 3 other lineman on the field then thay means he making ahxt happen. NT are usually 330 lbs and up so of course they usually arent pass rushers like that. But jordan been handling business

I am die hard eagles fan and I have been on Nick Siriani side from the beginning. Especially after the collapse last year. We as eagles fans need to chill out and just remember Chip Kelly! You want to go back to that! Or should we just embrace Nick? This guy has been the most winning coach we've had since Andy left. If we would have been able to keep Shane Steichin and Jonathan Gannon things would have been a lot different last year. Those coaches were not ready anybody who's been a football fan for long enough knows what a coaching collapse looks like. Those coordinators lost those players and they stood up for Nick. Did any players stand up for Matt Patricia or Brian Johnson or Sean Desai at the end of the year? Exactly

Firing the most winning head coach when your super stars have his back for a guy who has been fired his last last 2 spots each of the last 2 years who has never been a head coach is the definition of madness. Anyone says otherwise has never run a business.

Context matters wrong. Kellen was let go because the Rams hired a new coach. It had nothing to do about Kellen's performance as an OC

@@Don_Von_De_LaNooch good luck! You don’t blow up winning cause you’re smart. There are so many factors that go into winning. sometimes they can’t even all be explained. Some people just win. In every profession across the globe despite their perceived skills. More good oc’s & dc’s fail as HC’s than succeed. The odds of Moore being a successful HC are very small. The odds of him being as successful as nic almost absolute zero. it’s a sucker’s bet. When they were bad he even won year 1. Eagles fans outsmarting themselves betting it all on double zero

With all of jordan davis' physical ability, it's ok to think he might develop some pass rush. As big and athletic as he is, he should be able to get better. I'm not expecting more than 5 sacks, but with his raw ability he should get 3 or 4 sacks. Look at mailata. He didn't even play football until he got to the nfl. Good coaching matters.

@@tonyb460 Hey, I hope you're right. But that was never the expectation. Howie literally drafted him as a response to the season before when we were especially vulnerable against the run.

Dude. Jordan Davis did nothing. He didn't even have a tackle, pressure or anything. Everytime I saw him he was standing around with his hand on his hip. Not calling him a bust yet, but he did nothing.

The stat sheet doesn't always tell the story. ESPECIALLY for a d-tackle. Nose tackle at that. I saw a play where baun dropped back into coverage and forced love to throw over him which led to Blankenships int. Nothing in the stat sheet for baun but he made a great play there

You have DT like Donald, Cox, etc that took on double teams and still got sacks and tackles so let's not blame double teams. Again I'm not calling him a bust yet. Even Milton Williams made plays
@highlycaffeinated68646 күн бұрын
Totally agree, need to set our expectations higher for this team if we are gonna ever win a championship than just being happy with a big body at NT. What worries me most about him is how he trails off and disappears in games as he gets tired and the offensive line starts single blocking him and sliding the double team to Carter, who is an actual double threat and that takes away some of his effectiveness. Like if you cant get sacks, or tackles, and cant even consistently draw double teams what exactly are you doing out there. I aint seen nothing about Davis that tells me he's the answer for us on the DL

The most frustrating thing of the offseason is not just cutting the cord with Bradberry. We all know he is owed money but he has ZERO value and if Dylan Mcmahon becomes anything due this mis-move then it will become more egregious!!! I was happy to see JD dominate a few plays but I believe he needs to be on the field more than 52%, around 60% would be ideal!!! All I know on any snap where JD is double-teamed and when he stuffs the run, then that's a plus for him & the defense... any sacks will be a double bonus!!!
