One of the biggest things I've seen the last half decade from Eagles is real player development. Jordan Davis getting real pass rush moves is scary. Carter already showing greatness. We barely feel the absence of Hargrave on the DL and might actually have made an upgrade.

You guys are missing something, he got better bc he has his best friend with him jalen carter. He's even said as much. They both push each other and this is going to scary for other teams . Davis was a lul depressed and now, with his best friend on team, it eleviates pressure on him. Howie, idk if he realizes it might have started something by drafting the core def front of Georgia +Ringo. These guys know each other and have played with each all they are doing now is the same thing just in a different area. It eliminates a huge human element of not feeling comfortable. They can now play with confidence. But the def line hasn't been this dominant since the early 90s.

Still has rookie mistakes, but not many rookies can come in and play RT as well as he has at the NFL level. Lane Johnson type potential at RT for us. Carter looks like he's gaining some success in Philly with a stacked defense. You wouldn't hear his name called once so far in 3 games if he was with the Bears. The bears surrounding D line wouldn't be doing him any favors in his development. He can grow and develop around great talent in Philly, not stagnate and dissapear in Chicago. He's not a game-wrecker like Mack was for the bears. He's a complimentary player at this stage.
