I'm a Steelers fan, but I like to watch old film. Even with a weak run game that had 1,134 yards, or 94.5 yards per game, 12th out of 13 teams, and only 9 TDs, 8th out of 13 teams, Norm Van Brocklin, along with pro bowl receivers Pete Retzlaff, Tommy McDonald, and Bobby Walston, the Eagles went 10-2 and beat Vince Lombardi for his only playoff loss in the 1960 NFL Championship game

That was the best part of that game. Historic play at Yankee stadium.

Anyone who pines to see a play of a player being seriously injured is a sick POS IMO.

I saw that fake draw to Ted Dean, followed by a touchdown pass to Dean which put the Eagles ahead in the 2nd Giants game. My brother and I went to the top of Franklin Field and were watching the play develop --Franklin Field is the best place to watch a football game. I still remember it clearly - a thing of beauty. What was cool: I saw the play from the opposite side from the camera in this video. But it was just as I remembered. We had season tickets in the late 50's, early 60s.

"soar"? LMAO. The 1960 Eagles are considered to be the worst team to ever win an NFL championship. As a matter of fact, they didn't win it, the Packers lost it for them.

Jeff when you sell the Eagles I will watch the Eagles again, you traded the QB who won a Superbowl, Nick Foles. You don't trade a QB who beats the patriots with brady. You're all about money and not the game.
@lucaslarson4302 жыл бұрын
Wentz was clearly the franchise QB. Foles couldn’t even cut it as the Jags QB before getting replaced by a late round rookie. Jeff Lurie should’ve been institutionalized if he picked Foles over Wentz, this coming from someone who is a massive Foles fan

@@lucaslarson430 wentz is gone as an eagle. where did brady come from? sunday is wentz test, will he fold like a cheap suit or get hurt, this is his mo. you don't know your football history.

@@jameswills4904 he surly did trade him, sent him packing. whenever a player leaves a team because of a management's decision it's a "trade".

The NFL was a business first and it’s still more of a business as of now. No player is guaranteed a spot on any NFL roster.
