The last lyric before “X” is “keep you in my eyeline” and then the last line is “cross the sight.” It’s a play on words between those two lyrics because in English, we usually say “keep you in my eyeSIGHT” and “cross the LINE” meaning that he wants to cross over the line between his current state and the place and or person he wants to be.

mind blowing how eaj started as a little side project where he'd release little "snippets", as he called them. now jae's performing at 88rising's head in the clouds festival, with some of the biggest asian american artists in los angeles. watching him grow as an individual artist, as eaj, is truly so beautiful. i'm so proud of jae. i can't wait to see what he has in store in the future.

I was thinking about this song again (as I often do haha) and thought I’d update where I am on my journey :) Jae, you’re still kicking it as eaJ!! 💪 graduation was a weird transition but I’m now on the other side and feeling a lot better than I did last year. A lot has happened since I first left my comment back in Jan 2020 when this song dropped. Just wanted to give hope to all those who still feel like they’re lost - I feel more at peace with where I am in life, with myself, and with my relationships with other people. It’s been a rollercoaster of ups and downs and not every day is great, but it all works out somehow. Have hope friends! ❤️
