What you didn't mention about colloidal silver is that it is WATER based.

Dr. Judy, I pray that you will see this question as Im so desperate to help my pups ears. He was diagnosed with an ear infection in right ear( scratching both ears, one more than the other). Right ear is red and has that corn chip smell. He was prescribed an antifungal flush and oral antifungal medication. I only used the flush for a week now and he is still scratching. The vet now prescribed animax. I used once today then I was frightened by possible side effects. Could I immediately try zymox on his ear? Is that safe?

Can you recommend a cleaner, that ships to the UK? How frequently should you clean the ears?

I was recently really stunned reading your FB page “official “ which lead me to believe you over saw it. It doesn’t appear so because I have been stunned at some of the “ remedies “ people are posting for health questions of their animals . Seriously concerned that some of these irresponsible “remedies “ will be taken as the answer/cure , When in most cases the animal needs to be seen by a vet! This is stated as your official site but I don’t see you commenting or overseeing .. I may be wrong and have missed this …. ????

Hi Dr Morgan, the groomers always clean the ears of our dogs when they go for grooming monthly. However, some vets in my place suggest not to do it as the presence of some of the balance can help maintain a healthy state inside the ears. What's your thought about it? Thank you.

If the ears are clean there is no reason to flush the ears. Make sure the groomer is not using cotton swabs deep in the canal. Swabs cause damage by abrading the sensitive skin lining the canal.
