Thanks for your videos, they are very helpful! I was wondering, I'm seeing different info on ear plucking vs shaving, is it not possible to shave them?

Why is it ok to leave some hair inside the ear? I thought the idea was to remove as much as possible to prevent ear infections as they stop the ear from breathing and allow dirt to cling to them. If the dog was extremely distressed I could have understood leaving until next appointment but she was calm. I just wondered your reasoning behind it .?many thanks. Everyone does what they think is right and I respect that I just like to understand why so if my dog ever needed it I would be more informed how her groomer dealt with her etc. 🐾🦋

We pluck mainly INSIDE ear hair, which is the most important because it blocks airflow. Plucking outside of that general area isn't really a concern, but is up to the owner or groomer.

Pluck what needs to be plucked. Sometimes less is more.
