I compared both myself and there is no comparison soundwise: the earfun is better in every way. It is also better from construction perspective, it is sturdier and ligher while being more refined. I like more the design of the tribit but it is a speaker.. so I will keep what sounds better: the earfun. BTW my Tribit Stormbox Blast under heavy bass has some noise/vibration from the right passive radiator and from the back. Maybe I got a defective unit.. the noise appeared after some hours of play time.

Same here and I was wondering if I broke it after many sessions of heavy bass music. There are some specific frequencies the The Blast doesn't like at all, I actually checked to see if the right woofer is literally broken or blown and this happens only ob the right woofer, left one sounds normal

Blast sounds a tiny bit less congested, but for the money you cant go wrong with either speaker. I bought 2 because it was only an extra 60 quid having 2 uboomx's over 1 blast. I do hope they fix tws problems with oluvs EQ's, works fine on my phone but not over my projector for some reason.

@@lukabosnjak3829 I think it may be a bluetooth codec issue because they all work fine with my phone, it's just my projector, even my own custom EQ's have the same issue. If they dont fix it with a firmware update I wont be buying anymore earfun products as it should be easily fixed

The tribit sounds better to me.up to about 85%, then its past its sweetspot, Uboom x seems to have too much upper bass for me, but that keeps it full at max

@@techderaudios also don’t ever use earfun default tuning, it is crap, if you want to get the most out of it, get it to outdoor +, boom xxx or the loudest one outdoor, all of those crush the tribit

@DominikReviews those only work alright till 60% after that on higher volume earfun dsp gets into safe tunning to keep hardware safe so bass but als mids fails a bit , Tribit has this also a little bit but does fine overall thanks to less bass boosted other eqs;)

@ earfun doesnt have as much bass as tribit at 60-80% because it couldn’t be pushed more without distortions, tribit was pushed there but after 70% it rolls off its bass heavil, which you can hear easily

So at max volume it will cause the speaker to clip if on the standard Outdoor EQ but not on the Outdoor+ EQ? Or will both Outdoor EQ's cause the speaker to clip at max volume and only the Indoor EQ's won't clip?

Now it's on 0.41..and almost all the glitches have been fixed, sorted..Audio quality has greatly improved. All the EQ presets are playing as they were originally meant.Uboom X at its price point is an absolute winner , you get every penny's worth👍✌️

for me encore and uboom are actually similar sounding difference is in the upper treble and lower mids, but i didn't tested them at higher volumes

Good test. No clear winner for me. At the lower volumes there isn't much in it. Over all the Earfun sounds a little brighter and probably better but there isn't a lot in it. I'll give it another listen later. Not available in Ireland. I hope Earfun sort that out soon. I know a few people who want one.

Earfun sounds just overall smoother, Tribit sounds honky and its not right sounding. Especially it is hearble with good headphones with some natural correction for them
