Fire and Rain - James Taylor (Russ Kunkel Drum Cover)

Here are two versions of this classic James Taylor song! This song is a drummer's song for sure. These takes are me trying to emulate the great Russ Kunkel. I can tell you it is not exact, but it is based on my years of listening and trying to get that Russ Kunkel vibe from this song. No other drummer could make playing brushes on a rock song any cooler that this one. I choose to use blasticks (as Russ does when playing live concert with James) instead of the brushes. Anyhow, I just want to thank Russ for the inspiration he is to me!
