Had me smiling again this morning Liz! Seeing you finally under sail makes me feel like I achieved some great accomplishment and I'm at last enjoying the light at the end of that tunnel. I can only imagine the feeling! After our time away from the water we'll be going out for our first sail of the season here at the end of May. Yeah, not a boat that is mine, YET, but, still a handful of us will be out on the boat we use which is a 46' Morgan Ketch. I'm sooooo anxious to get out sailing again I can feel it like I'm aboard now!! I only read a few of the other posts here, but, I agree with some of them, I'd love to see some of your step by step fixes of the upgrades, additions, and repairs you are still doing. Share the journey, navigation plans, how you are monitoring the weather, etc. Ya know, the typical "sailor" info. Love watching you no matter what dear!!!! Keep it real, and enjoy the ride!!! XOXO

Hard to get into these vids like I did with delos because I don't know the people. When u guys would make your own vids on delos or narrate them or even just talk we could connect with the people. I had exactly this experience last year. Months of hard graft refitting, but when the stays strain and the mast heel presses on the deck, when those sails fill for the first time and the boat pulls, then you know why a boat is called she. She comes to life, there's no feeling like it

Where do you get them serviced? How is the fuel economy? What happens if they have foul emissions? How often do you have to check its gear... box?

Jack Patteeuw well it's good to see they took some fresh air. I think they should travel around St Lucy for a while and get use to the boat. Then they will know what to do. They need more solar panel and batteries. They need a proper shower and the inside redone. As well as a real dinghy motors... everywhere , inverter, navigation system, safety and so on. This is a huge step in the process to get the sails out and still editing videos. Give them time, in 6 months the boat will be completely changed. They have some serious guy on board.

@@antoinegruner2327 - I can not argue against the "all work and no play" logic. The refit of Papageno is going to take $$$ and I am a bit concerned that this channel is more of a remake of a "Friends" episode than serious sailing/refit/travel log channel.

Jack Patteeuw yeah they go nowhere until the job is done. But they have one year or so before to go on hard again. Plenty of time to go USA to refit the engine and then go down to Brazil for a complete refit. Again we will know at the end of the summer what will happen.

Jack Patteeuw - I think with the skills this gang has, and time frankly, they’re going to try to do as much of the work themselves. Aside from head machining, you can get rebuild kits for engines with all the gaskets and BS for pretty cheap. Like $150. Unless you need to resleeve blocks or other, more challenging repairs, with sufficient time one can do much themselves. Sheesh, the Delos gang re-rigged their boat themselves for like $9k! That’s a lot but not a lot at the same time, at least to me.

Well done I bet there’s a load of your mind and excitement, you tryatic is very slack , the stay between both masts If there’s no turnbuckle to take up the slack tweet the forstay , there should be no sag in the try on the wind , or if there is a bumpkin on the boat you can adjust it there , things looking up
