Do you have a prefered nuresery you are getting your trees from?

I can't say there is. I have used FourWinds on a shipped order, and they did a good job. I got several of my Avocados from ANaturalFarm in Howey-In-The-Hills Florida, and the Kumquats from Green's Nursery in Zellwood nearby.

@@Avo7bProject well thank you. I have not purchased from any of them. and only heard of four winds. Will check them out for sure.

Hello, what is the coldest temperature they have been exposed and did you cover them with a fleece over winter?
@Avo7bProject6 ай бұрын
This past winter was mostly typical. A dozen or more nights into the teens Fahrenheit with the lowest night touching 10F (-12 Celcius). Because the Lila tree was flowering during January and February, I did throw a plastic cover on it during nights below freezing. I also had electric lights strung in the tree, which I activated probably around 8 times.

Ah, thanks good to know. What about rainfall, is it wet in winter in your area or dry?
@Avo7bProject6 ай бұрын
@@fkeeleung Rainfall is good here, (despite the winter temperatures and clay soil which make avocado growing difficult.) Yearly about 35 inches, 89 centimeters. Autumn is drier than the other seasons, but rainfall is generally spread more evenly than in California.
