Earliest start to Yukon sledding season ever!

Four months and 10 or so days since last ride. Got out on October 20, 2024 with good buddy Pat on his Arctic Cat Catalyst 600, and me on the Polaris 9R RMK. Found some amazing snow conditions on a bluebird day. Lots of great riding, and lots of crashes (by me, at least). The bar is set high for our 24/25 season!

I hit snow here in Central B.C in my side by side while wandering up the mountains last week.i still have my summer trail tires on and wasn't even thinking about my snowmobile.guess it's time to swap over to the studded snow tires,rig the atv for plowing and dust off the sled.

That clutch squeal you are hearing there is a fix for it. Carls off-road in Seeley MT

I’ll look into that - thanks! I usually put some tape over the panel vent on that side, and that keeps the squeal causing snow out, and we’re cold enough up here I’m not too worried about clutch heat

@ it’s from the bearings one way bearing. I get it in cold and hot conditions. Nice thing also he will balance the clutch also for a good price. Kurt is good people.

How far from whitehorse do you guys need to drive to get to the riding zone? I will be moving up to the Yukon from coastal BC in the spring but this makes me reconsider selling my sled at the end of this season
