So for those debating if this works, yes it does just follow the directions 1)gently turn the key in the ignition back and forth 2) turn the steering wheel and after some 30 seconds it should work

I had my throttle body fixed after my car decelerated so once the I put my car on, wanted to put my car in drive (D shift) the stick thing wouldn't move down when I wanted to put it in gear so I had to put my key in the steering wheel lock to press it down so I can be able to put my car to drive. I usually gets stuck when I want to put it in neutral, reverse or to drive so I have to force it down. That problem started a day or two days after my car decelerated because of the throttle body and of the clogged muffler. My car is automatic. Can anyone help me in how I should solve that problem?
