Early 19th century mahogany cellarette attributed to Gillows of Lancaster

A flamed veneered mahogany cellarette in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. The interior is unrestored with six divisions for wine bottles.
The whole is raised on four turned and fluted legs supported on the original brass castors.
This piece of furniture is the ideal height to go by the side of a settee or arm chair or as a lamp table.

Some years ago I bought at auction an oak Arts & Crafts cellarette probably late 19th or very early 20th Century, when A&C was popular in the US. It was in the original finish with cast brass hinges and lock hasps. There was a hinged lid and a hinged door. It was slotted for air movement. I searched on line for another example, but could find none. I put it in my shop for a couple of thousand dollars as I recall and it sold to a woman who lived 3,000 miles away on the east coast of the US.
