I've noticed when it comes to most of the 5 stars, they work best with/benefit a lot from their Archon. Mondstadt: Diluc, Eula, and Klee - benefit from Venti's ult crowd control massively. Liyue: Hu Tao and Xiao - as their health depletes, they benefit from Zhongli's Shield. Inazuma: Yae Miko - Benefits from Raiden's ER. Kamisato Ayato, Kaedehara Kazuha, Yoimiya - benefit from Raiden's skill VIA reaction buffs. Sumeru: All Sumeru 5 stars: benefit from Nahida's Ult and Skill Fontaine: Neuvillette - Benefits from health depletion via Furina's skill Navia - Benefits from hydro appliance from Furina's Skill Clorinde, Chiori, Siegewinne - benefit from Furina's ult buff. Its safe to assume Mavuika will provide some buff for her people too.

Why Kachina with the new set? Geo doesn't react with Dendro so it doesn't buff Dendro units, just the Pyro unit (in that Kinich, Bennett, Emilie team).

I think it is because it's always highly recommended to go for crit dmg for the circlet of logos using the Obsidian Codex set. That 11% for sure is enough to complete the necessary crit rate.

Kinda love him. I already knew I was 100% going to pull him for the Overworld Mobility alone (since they teased it in the Natlan Trailer) but I wasn't expecting it to be even better than Kazuha's midair mobility (in terms of height and distance). Even the combat looked fun (if a bit jank at times like the mid air strike but hopefully that will be fixed by launch)! The one thing that was made EXTREMELY clear in this video was to try and avoid playing him with construct characters (Zhongli, Geo Traveler, etc) so that he doesn't get trapped in between the constructs for his DDR (Big Shot). It also seems Thoma is (indirectly) getting stronger over time from his initial release which makes me quite happy since I like our Kamisato housekeeper very much 🧡♥

Slotting a character that directly restricts the burning and burgeon reaction lets say ur putting kachina over furina or yelan makes it so u cant proc burgeon so ur missing out on over 500% damage in exchange for what.. 300% of his atk? just don't use any natlan character atm wait for muvika because regardless of her kit she will be a pyro natlan character and inheritly have more value than xiangling or thoma or dehya who are there just to apply pyro not dmg

oh that bit about using burst to guarantee a 3rd big hit is very helpful for using him without pyro teammates. I planned to use him with mainly with yelan because there aren’t that many comfortable pyro supports for me right now.

Someone tested Kinich with 4pc Obsidian, he actually gets the 40% cr the moment his first cannon fires! So that first cannon actually gets the cr buff. That delay on him firing the cannon counts as him using his night soul. Not completely sure if it was a bug or not but it was tested on video.

well its fair cuz +11% from his weapon, +40% from artifact set and +some% from artifacts' substays so itll be around 60-70cr. Therefore you can focus more on atk% and CD.

After all show cases of Natlan characters, at this, I really hope that reviewers can incorporate the nuke dmg / total dmg /dps drop of a Natlan character when outside of Natlan. I mean Natlan characters are great, but to me, it's kinda like having a 1 year / 5.X buff (or as I call it, Natlan subscription lol) and they may fall behind hard once we get to Scheznaya (or new areas outside Natlan) or even if they are power crept by new mechanics / characters

With what I’m seeing with both Mualani and Kinich as the early 5 star Natlan DPS, is that they really are depending on pyro to shine the best. With no pyro characters in Natlan except for the archon, i can really see Mavuika being the game changer.

I have to say it cause I can't find shit online about it: There has to be some inspiration from Studio Trigger's animes. His bracelets look like Ryuko's, he summons Ajaw by "using" it and Ajaw's dragon form straight up has Kamina's sunglasses, especially in the Flame Spirit Pact's skill icon. GOAT design.
