I got Kinich the moment he released. Could not hold back myself after I saw his gameplay in trailer/teasers. After getting him im so happy, he is so much fun to play, makes exploration a bit fun as well, as you dont need yamkasaur and tepeltsaur for climbing or reaching high places. And his dmg is relatively decent as well.

Really really love the part of the team section where you explore multitude of characters with their pros and cons. Some people like to experiment with less used characters and don’t mind . Because yeah I have experience that asking for help outside the best team for certain characters and people will just know the meta team and that’s it, you ask details about other options and it’s radio silent. And yeah it’s expected not everyone is a tc but some people claim to be so knowledgeable in the games combat but are so lost if you distance a little from the meta

Yeah, I've been struggling trying to pick using Thoma, Xiangling or Bennet, I don't have them with good builds, playing mostly casual, so checking different videos with different characters but no one giving a pro or cons about why that character made me almost quit.

Kinich being able to sling those explosive blue balls/flower is literally my favourite thing. So convenient in “Destroy 2 towers” commissions as well as many other things.

Kinich also has a unique wall climbing mechanic after you use his hold skill, it’s finicky but either continuing forward or re-tapping the skill makes him leap vertically upwards

Talking Stick is an amazing 4* option if you play him with someone that applies pyro. It's a great way to give him a higher base atk. And it looks really good with him hehehe.

If you grapple at long distance it can take Kinich a longer time to maneuver into the enemy's blind spot. What you can do is grapple the enemy at very close range, like melee range, and this lets you spin around the enemy very fast, making it easier to get 4 cannon shots.

these intros are so much fun! Kinich definitely has a bit of a jank in in his kit but it's so fun and unique it kinda compensates. I wish his indicator was a bit clearer though, it's hard to see it in the middle of all the chaos sometimes.

YAAAAYYY, KINICH SEVY GUIDE!! :D I love the intro as always 😂 I got Kinich and I love him so much 😭 he’s my first decently built character because I got a bit lucky on the free artifacts from the caves, and got extremely lucky on my crafted dendro dmg goblet, and he’s v stronk! He’s so fun, I have no regrets pulling him & his weapon, and I won’t have any regrets skipping Xilonen to save for Mavuika c: (I won’t have enough anyway lmao)

I really like your video, I was getting a hard time building teams for Kinich and I would like to add that if players have C4 Kirara her elemental skills the dendro shield fires dendro proyectiles that can trigger Deepwood Memories to decrease dendro resistance that way you get protection and a decent damage increase.

NOTE: Xianglings burst, just go counterclockwise (opposite of her burst) when strafing with Kinich. I use Xiangling with him, and it's not a problem at all if you do that. BUT it's great she pointed that out because I noticed it as well when I was first playing them together. Thank you for the very informative video, this is the most helpful guide I've found on him.

Not sure if someone else has already pointed it out, but Verdict is *just* a stat stick! The Passive on it does not work for Kinich at simply for the reason that the Elemental Skill damage bonus is cleared the moment her enters his E to do loopshots, which unfortunately means he can't buff his cannon shots with it. Still a great option since the 20% ATK passive is unconditional and the high base ATK and crit rate are welcome!

I think that Kinich is HoYoverse's test subject for a future catalyst user with Megaman/Rockman buster-like Normal Attack and Charged Attack mechanics. This is similar to Mika being the test subject for Navia & Chevreuse.

Pulled for him and absolutely loved it. Very different playstyle and team comps compared to other characters. Played him in the 2nd half abyss with Nahida, Dehya L70 Yanfei L70 and they cooked. I wished I didn't lose my 50/50 when pulled for Emille back then but regardless with sub optimal team comp and artifact stats he still slays.

Tip:most blind spot are on the back of the enemies so try to observe your enemy on where's the back of the enemies so that you can get more points (hope it helps❤)

11:50 It seems like Talking stick would be a good match for Kinich if he was paired with Bennet. I've seen some calcs but they never say if the weapon's passive buff is active. I guess it depends on the pyro Archon.

Got Kinich and his weapon! I did lose to Raiden’s sig but got Kinich’s in the next 10 pull! So now my Raiden can finally have her drip weapon and the catch will go to a unit who can display her mastery over pyro and pole arms ^^ I did build up 50 pity for some Thoma cons but Sara kept coming home who is already C6 :( Would love to have at least his C2 but he’s C1 for now. So far, I am very happy with his gameplay loop. Grappling around feels so much fun, especially in explorations! The team I plan on running for now is Kinich, Yelan, Bennet, and Thoma. Yelan will be replaced with Emilie on her rerun. Here’s hoping we get a five star version of Xiangling and Bennet!

Does "skill dmg" that triggers off-field attacks requiring normal attacks but doesn't scale from "normal attack" and doesn't trigger Beidou which requires normal attacks. The Beidou hate is real, Hoyo 😭
